Look at my baby girl Serenity wrapped like a Chipotle burrito.

She was always intended to be the baby goat that keeps the steroid jacked race horse Jupiter calm and she somewhat succeedes. Her vibes are so blunt and care free you can't help to sigh and shake your head in acceptance. Serenity is probably one of the closest relationships Jup has, nothing beats a sibling even if Jupiter was adopted in the King's family. They are cousins tho, if one wishes to be technical Jupiter was adopted by Serenity's mother's sister.

Serenity has a natural princess experience that Jupiter is equally jealous and protective of. Like it sucks to have more leadership and responsibilities imposed on you but also clearly Serenity isn't given as many opportunities as Jup and they know this. That's why Jup takes her along for the ride and Serenity sticks with them like glue.

TLDR; If Jup get paid they both get paid.

Now in current time since Jupiter has been able to properly send Serenity to college she has the time to focus on being married lol. Serenity is always gonna have a place to crash with Jup tho

Death, a swift and sudden change, was always going to refer to Jupiter's chimera posession.

I very much leaned into the emotional vampire concept of voodoo, a spiritual entity that attaches to you and drains your life away. It took on Jupiter's reflection and their shadow and steals Jups joy by filling Jup's head with insecurity and making them hunt for validation. It's a woman in the most feral sense, super selfish and speaks through Jupiter's tounge. She is only Eve because Jupiter burdens themself to be Adam and they need something to blame for being unhappy like that.

There is a nature to this chimera crash out that I want to represent visually but I am not at that power level yet. Eve would be really cool and creepy tho.

Thats a real freak, that thing, but I also think it would change dramatically if it left Jupiter and possessed anyone else. Like idk I could see it being a leech under Roswell’s scarf drinking hot blood by keeping him riled up and angry.

I wish I had more time to make her yap and interact, but like, she had liquor to steal, a girl's gotta do what a girl's gotta do.

After Lore Dumping: The Case we finally arrive at the last card. As Jupiter has been missing from the office the cards unfolded their story at conflict with a hidden chimeric identity and their whereabouts are in a super state. The notion of living out isolated from her hometown problems gave Jupiter the space she needed to form her own opinions and experiences without the taint of knowing what happened. Jupiter has been playing off the chime while she worked at JCC but there isn't really a way to go back to 'normal' after all that despite her best efforts.

She told no one, just tried to start fresh and realized in the middle she has been barely holding it together for so long rest feels strange and unfamiliar. She didn't tell anyone, not even Ros, just shows symptoms of hiding like covering mirrors, changing from suits to dresses in closets, hiding to nap. Eventually she grew to be more comfortable doing what she liked, even felt reward for trusting her instincts, she's learned to seal chimera, they found Li's family chimera, everything is going good.

When the King's announce their planned arrival Jupiter was put into a decision: keep the status quo and report they have learned what they needed to seal the chimera in their hometown or come out to them and explain she wants a life in Tenpei.

Good ending, of course, is to live her best life but there is a bad end / reverse reading for this card.

Cold, but Jupiter putting family values and structure first makes for someone who would cross alliances to give themself the best stratigic chance. The establishment of a formal relationship between the King's and a well off connection in Tenpei was always the goal to them.

Tldr: we are glad she's out of the closet but both me and her husband agrees she should wear the suit sometimes still, for the fun of it, it's a good look on her.

Despite the way this card came for my hand and shortened my lifespan I like it. It's the tower, so like a sign of a sudden change, and just one of thoes core cards that were always in the blueprint. Devil, Death, and Tower are all the cards featuring chimera and I was very confident/ambitious in what I wanted to do.

Here Jupiter is finally confronting the idea that there is merit to using Eve to learn more about the chimera infecting the town. It was out of their league when I wrote it the first time, I knew this, but when I was writing it again I could only shake my head at Jup bringing a little devil doll to fight a false god. I shoved so many religious themes on there, the tree having fruit like the tree of knowledge, how it speaks to the people as a burning bush, it turned out kinda interesting. It's a delusional chimera at the end of the day but this one, I think, fits the expectation of what a spiritual encounter would look like at the time. Also, I think making Chimera Jesus would be too easy.

Anyways Eve is a real spoiled thing for having Jupiter give it what it wants. I mean Jupiter was genuinely trying to save people, and we love them for that, but letting their packed and wrapped truama go back and get a hit of the good stuff that made them traumatized in the first place is devious work. But hey, it was enough to tip the scale and get Jup outta there.

What happened to the chimera after this? Well the tree was smashed into with Jupiter's car (rip this car Jup loved their car they would actually like a new car pls) and it became 'injured' like it really can't help that it's host is damaged but that doesn't stop it. So it's been slow festering, unable to spread farther than what it is, heavily dependant on suckling life from the town. Weaker but with stronger connections to what's left. Fitting, I think for a dying old town being lost to the past.

As for Eve the doll went dormant, getting what it 'wanted' as per the words Jupiter knows how to use. For Jupiter its like they felt like they could finally put blame to something else and not feel confused but that doesn't mean Eve is gone. Eve is very much still with Jup, learning new words just like she is now. I imagine that currently while Eve hasn't presented in a long time it's still been lasting effects on Jupiter, like their reflection is still visible to them though she is working on healing that, I imagine her shadow still isn't there either but she would not rush to have that back. Jups hair is now a certified old ass talisman so I think it's seal is really thin. If any lock were cut off it would be enough to get Eve to push and untangle it, a slippery slope of rapid unlocking until all of Jupiter's hair from years will be out and Eve would run wild with it.

I always wanted to run a current Eve chimera case but at that point it would not be able to be called Eve any more it would have a new presentation. 😈

Tldr; Did actually drawing bodies in the trees add to anything? I sure hope it did.

Was just chilling with a friend at my local tea shop and they had art supplies out for a few hours so I indulged in a little Jupiter. Jup would want me painting her in a tea shop for sure, Ros coded.

Yay act 3! The healing journey begins here! I mean Jup considered it quite stressful but hey, it worked.

Wreaking havoc under chimeric posession is enough to have one sent back home to Louisiana where Eve became the King's problem.

When Eve possesses Jupiter it makes their hair grow out so instead of constant cutting they tried locking the hair itself to 'trap' the chimera there. This was an idea among many to help their poor child who seems unusual and in mental distress. Jupiter would describe it as a time of isolation and stern forceful conversations, just trying to get Jupiter to put away their vices and calm tf down.

Tldr; suppress the symptoms but the disease remains
