i'm just sort of forgettable and sometimes its like I could melt into the walls and it would take everyone days to realize that i was gone. and i've seen dozens of posts about this on tumblr, but i've never really felt so.. forgotten? missing. like i'm a droid, born to get As and write perfect stories and be a perfect model, and if I dare to show myself to the world, i'm just wrong. so they've trained me to be forgettable, to melt into the walls and stay low, even though they tell you to be brave and bold and different, they hate you because you are all these things. and if I get a B on a test, suddenly i'm not special anymore. suddenly i need a tutor because the machine is breaking down and it needs to be repaired. flaws are not accepted and moment of weakness are shunned. have you ever though that maybe I just wanted to be myself? write stories about what i wanted, enjoy school, take road trips, have adventures, make memories, break, heal, break more? Have you ever thought that maybe I didn't want to be the wallpaper?
