just a very small pet peeve of mine if u can rlly call it that but it always bugs me when ppl characterize danse as being like. weirdly taciturn and then chalk it up to him being a synth or autistic or wtv. i think he's just extremely depressed/traumatized bc he becomes a LOT more expressive in his romance route when he's ACTUALLY happy. a lot of our experiences w danse for 95% of the game are very career oriented and at a time in his life where he is just quite frankly not even sure if what he's doing is worth it (which is a horrible way to feel when it's all he's ever based his value on). as someone who has cptsd it just bugs me that ppl reduce him to what are clearly just symptoms to me and not representative of who he is as a person edit: this isnt even to say that i dont believe danse is autistic or even just reticent but i always feel like chalking up Symptoms of PTSD to being either or of those things is an oversimplification

Ep 40: A Power Armor Built For Two [Fallout 4]

Foxmime returns! Real talk: I love this comic. It’s a weird one, like most of my favorites are. We got the script, pretty fully formed, just by riffing while she was romancing Danse, and it still makes me giggle. And I love that Foxmime included The Rose. It is becoming a thing.

Just Danse

I loved traveling with Danse. Mainly because my sister would occasionally walk in and ask who I was with. When I'd say 'Danse' and we'd both breakout singing "JUST DANSE! IT'LL BE OKAY! BA DA DO DEE! JUST DANSE! SPINE THAT RECORD BABE! BA DA DO DEE! JUST DANSE!" It became a running gag, and we still do it nearly every time without fail.

Just for an hour, or fifteen minutes, or even for a single song. The average song is about 2:30 right. 2:30 and we'd all feel better about everything.
