272 km to go

I am within 272 km of my total for all of last year.  I did a fair bit after the fondo, so I am on pace to exceed last year by lots.

If the weather holds I should knock off most of that this week.  2 Iona rides and one long ride on Sunday should be around 150 km.  Likely the same the week after.

I am taking off the week before the Fondo so I should be comfortably over last year's total before that ride.

If I get another 1200 km odd after that I will hit my meaningless and arbitrary goal of 5275 km for the year.  That will put me at 50,000 km on bikes since the start of this adventure.  That includes my bike commuting years.

Last year I did 900 odd km after the Fondo.

Actually the trouble with personal arbitrary goals is they are just numbers.

I am in good shape for a man my age. No Pills. That is all that really matters.
