Can we stop pretending that the batfam kids only have one emotion????? Most everyone (with exceptions but-) no matter how emotionally repressed they are feel more than one thing, it's part of being human. It's so frustrating when people mis characterize them, and say they only feel one thing or only act a certain way.

Anyways I checked out John Herschel's wiki page for fic reasons (got something fun cooking in the oven) and I found out a few things that were fun to learn. 1, John pulp portrait is based off of his real life one. Like it's identical, they're even wearing the same clothes and their hair is the same. Thought that was fun. 2, his aunt was also as astronomer. Nepo baby out the wazoo fr fr. 3, he has 2 middle names like a weirdo

reasons why atreus likes angrboda because why not 😊

We already know they like each other but i like to dig a bit deeper into their relationship because i just love them so much 😋 a few reasons why i believe atreus is drawn to angrboda:

1) The obvious, his parents. Due to his upbringing with laufey being more open with her love and kratos showing tough love, you can tell atreus craves some sort of validation and really wants someone who is upfront and honest abt their feelings for him and clearly angrboda is exactly that and she possibly reminds him of his mother.

2) They are in a similar position when it comes to a guardian of theirs being harsh toward them and being the only kid growing up. As they go through ironwood and feel each other out, a certain type of unique understanding with one another is developed.

3) His ancestry. Again very obvious but worth to point out that not only is he happy to explore his jotnar heritage and learn abt who he is as loki, he’s really intrigued with the tranquillity homey feel of jotunheim. I think he feels this way about angrboda as well.

4) Her independence. throughout ragnarok, atreus seeks a specific independence and knowledge that angrboda seems to have that he doesnt but wants. While she has it because of unfortunate circumstances, he sees that she's working hard against her mostly internal struggles and admires that.

I'm just going to throw my opinions out about a couple things I wasn't a huge fan of in the MHA epilogue so far.

Dabi should have just died.

Bringing him back to create some MOMENT with him and Shouto was painful and felt hamfisted.

He's a GREAT villain! Let him remain one!

You question your own morals and values when you see that all the destruction he helps cause is because of the abuse he received trying to be a part of hero society.

By the end he's just this shell of himself, a singular feeling: to kill that which already killed him.

Endeavor having to live with one son putting the other to rest, his actions forcing his youngest son to kill his creation because he could not do it himself? That's beautiful and tragic and heartbreaking and actually leaves a comment about the idolization of heroes and how the system they have for judging heroes is BROKEN

Now, bkdk?

I LIKE the concept of the moment between Midoriya and Bakugou.

It didn't hit like the fight they had in the training grounds, or even the speech when Midoriya comes back to UA and Bakugou begins his atonement.

I think that's because of the lack of Midoriya.

Bakugou spills his guts out, and I just wish Midoriya had as well.

I really think there needed to be a blatant acknowledgement of friendship. Like, I've always been trying to beat you, that will never stop. Or saying how even without OFA, Bakugou has created something new with the limits he can push himself to with ONE quirk.

It was just All Might coming in to say, yeah, but we did it. Good job!

The dialogue didn't hit.

At the end of the day, I LOVE MHA, that won't stop.

Endings are tough, but Horikoshi told the story he thought was important, and that's what you should do as a writer! Create what is most meaningful to you. Toss it into the world and see what blooms and grows.

this isn't going to mean anything to most people, but i just find it interesting

when i built my current pc, one of the things i made sure of was a really good monitor with great color accuracy. i have a degree in graphic design so the fact that my set up before (a laptop and extra monitor) did not have good color accuracy really drove me insane

now that i do have this, i'll see old gifsets i made before this monitor and things look super off lol they don't go together as well as i'd like them to and it's annoying sdflhjdfg
