I’ve never seen any Dracula movie (I knew some of the general story from being alive for 30+ years and I’m now doing Dracula Daily), and seeing your posts about the awful choices the adaptations have made make me really happy with my life choices of not having watched any. I need the Muppets to make an adaptation; they haven’t let me down yet.

Okay, but when are we going to get an actually textually accurate Dracula adaptation instead of the endless schlock we have been foisted with to date? We have a legion of new Dracula fans who are INTIMATELY informed about the book thanks to reading it closely in small (or uh, not so small) chunks every day and writing extensive analysis about it afterward, so I am just saying. There is a market for this.

ok so this is a headcanon ive been mulling over for a while but there have been several aus where there is an opposite to the fears that can counteract them and while i think that’s a cool concept to explore, usually the opposite force is love.

dont get me wrong, it’s a super cool idea and really fun to read about but it’s not really the opposite of fear. and the whole jist of the fears is that they are so powerful bc they are a primal force felt by everything that can feel and it’s debatable whether animals and the like can feel love like we think of it.

my proposal for the nega fears: entities/gods of safety. being safe is the opposite of fear and would have existed just as long bc of that

you can create some cool sub entities/gods like cooperation, trust, and comfort. a entity/god of love is also possible here so if you want to still keep that aspect. i just think it would be cool to see how this would work.

like i said, this is just a headcanon and if someone wants to do anything with this go ahead, just lmk so i can gush over it
