Sometimes, a lie isn’t just a dishonest statement.

Sometimes it’s as simple as withholding the truth.

“I love her”

is what you said

“I am in love with her”

is the truth

“I (am in) love (with) her”

Two can play that game

“I love you”

is what I say

“I am in love with you”

is the truth

I know you know.
