((Hallo! Have some headcanon!))

Maria can name most every agent in SHIELD. She recognizes faces, and works at least twice a week after her shifts to run through the recent rosters and memorize names with those faces.

It isn't something she is naturally talented at, but these are her men, her agents, as close as she will likely come to family. They keep dying on her, beside her, eventually they will die with her or whoever follows her once she's gone. 

The least she can do is recall at least their last name.

Daken paused for his coffee at the Starbucks opposite the poorly-disguised SHIELD HQ in New York. He'd only been inside the once, but he'd had hours disguised as a security agent in which to memorize the layout and defenses. Doubtless after his bloody and rather obvious exit, along with the escape of Wolverine as engineered by Daken at the same time, they had redone their security.

There were newer faces since then, of course, and he liked to watch them from his table by the window. Like that one, stepping carefully off the curb to cross the street...

Either way, the only reason I’m gonna stop replying is if A) I didn’t see your reply, or B) I was attacked by Howler Monkeys from Hell and am currently sassing Luci. 

So honestly, it is whichever one you’re most comfortable with since I just kinda go with the flow.}
