no place for fear || claire&queen regina
The forests were, admittedly, a rather prized possession of The Queen's. Dark, shadowed, foreboding - it was everything The Queen was, only without the dresses. Regina sat in her carriage, staring out the window with a smirk on her lips and a glint in her eye. Yes, this would do nicely. Her land stretched far and wide, invading other kingdoms and infecting other people. Soon enough, she would have all of this realm under thumb - but she certainly didn't care. No, she had much more pressing matters.
Snow. White.
Sneering, Regina barely had time to grip on to the handle of her carriage as it came to a jolting stop. She could hear a commotion, her guards shouting warnings, threats, anything - and yet, Regina was almost certain it was not for her benefit. Raising one single eyebrow, she pushed open the door, startling the man tasked with guarding it, and stepped out rather gracefully. Stepped, never slid. Queen's didn't slide. Holding on to the door's handle, she stared ahead at - a girl? A girl - and a wolf? Her gaze flicked upwards, taking in the moon and with it, moons time. Ah - werewolf. She considered leaving the poor thing to her own devices. Evidently, she was a rather good fighter. But the wolves in these forests were stronger than anywhere else, because they, like every other creature that roamed her land, fed off fear. And while the girl may not show any signs of scare, her guards certainly were. Pursing her lips and resigning to assuring that their fear were never detectable, especially by her, she lifted her hand and flicked her wrist, sending the wolf flying from her path as she stalked forward, moving to the girl's side but yet, some distance away. "Out, mutt." She bared her teeth, her eyes flashing a dangerous purple as her magic stirred within her.
The wolves had long since learnt who she was, and what she could do. And it was with a satisfied smirk that she watched it scurry away, it's tail between it's legs and a whine leaving it's mouth. A slight roll of her eyes, she turned, catching the gaze of the girl with a raised eyebrow before she moved to return to her carriage.
