The pair of handsome twins were grinning.
"You look lost, Alice," said one. "Did you fall down the rabbit hole and hit your head?"
"Because if you're lost, we can point you to the right way," said the other.

Daltonfic Big Bang 2020: Week 1, Day 3: Hanover House
Welcome [New Freshman/New Transfer]! We’re pleased to have you spend your freshman year with us here in the safe and secure walls of Hanover House.
Welcome [New Freshman/New Transfer]!
We’re pleased to have you spend your freshman year with us here in the safe and secure walls of Hanover House.
I am your Prefect, Justin Bancroft. I am an International Student from London, England, and I have been a student in Hanover since 2007. I reside in Room 10, on the first floor of the dormitories above the Common Level. I am available to answer all questions, calm interpersonal disputes, and dole out punishments if need be. Hopefully we will only meet in positive interactions.
Our House Head of Staff is Murray Newman. Some of you will come to know him better as your Ecology and Environmental Studies teacher. He is responsible for any concerns you have that cannot be addressed by me, especially regarding academics as fellow students cannot be consulted on grading for other students. In Senior Year you may be asked to assist certain teachers, but strict guidelines are put in place that I am sure, you as a Hanover will not violate.
Members of Hanover House have gone on to run successful businesses; serve in municipal and congressional offices; create international gala showcases; and compete in world class sporting events. While in Dalton, your future success can be secured through a variety of sports, extra-curriculars, and student societies. A full list of opportunities can be found on page 35 of the 2010-2011 Student Handbook, but my personal recommendation is to round out with one of each, unless you take on larger commitments. I personally am on the Rowing Team, in addition to my duties as Prefect. Your success is your house’s success, and we only thrive when we support one another.
To reiterate, Hanover House is one of three Houses in Dalton Academy. The school’s charters and terms of operations abide by a strict zero tolerance bullying and harassment policy (pg. xxi, SH). If, as your prefect, I find you in violation of the Student Code of Conduct, you will be promptly removed from Hanover House. You may ask for a transfer to another house, but depending on severity you may be asked to transfer schools. Of all houses, we in Hanover House pride ourselves on adherence to our moral and ethical duties.
Freshman Orientation will take place the first Friday of term, 4pm after classes. All new students will gather in Seminar Room 4 in the Main Building for a quick overview of the rules, expectations of Hanover House students, and a quick Question and Answer period. After that, we will reconvene in the Hanover House Common Room for tea where you will be able to properly mingle with the upperclassmen, or established members of your respective grade.
After that, you and I will have a one on one to discuss your personalized concerns in a more private setting. You were selected for Hanover for a reason. Discretion is key in Hanover House. How do we pick our members? It should be obvious after our meeting.
Move in date is September 2nd, I hope to see you there!

Charlie, over the phone: Hello?
@daltonficbigbang welcome to a classic story of someone realizing he’s Bi™
In the days following what was meant to be their completely normal night off at the bowling alley, Justin was experiencing confusion and a slight identity crisis. This was on account of his reaction to Charlie’s moment of closeness as he adjusted Justin’s technique that night. He was unreasonably thrown off by feelings of longing for that intimacy again. This was all quite unacceptable; this was Charlie he was thinking about, after all. He couldn’t ask for more in a friend. They had both helped each other become the people they wanted to be over the years.
Of course he loved Charlie. How could he not love someone that he had known for so long and gone through so much with? Charlie’s support and loyalty was rivaled only by Justin’s. They only missed each others’ sporting events if it was absolutely necessary and even brought each other drinks to practices, but wasn’t that what good friends do? Justin tried to support all of his friends. Perhaps he was more diligent when it came to Charlie, but does caring about someone so much equate to romantic love?
He was not above admitting that his friend had good looks, but until then he hadn’t considered whether acknowledgement of attractive men throughout his life had been limited to impartial judgement or something else entirely. Justin wasn’t gay, he knew he found women attractive (a certain Dobry girl, who could beat him up and he’d thank her for it, comes to mind), but if he was also attracted to men, Charlie would be one of those men for sure.
And that determined that it was time to find out.
He had plenty to busy himself with that week, and yet, whenever he had a reason to observe the Windsor prefect without feeling that it was too improper, he took full advantage. He took mental note every time they made physical contact, every time Charlie smiled, and everything in between. Most importantly, he noted how these things made him feel.
And as Charlie was changing in the locker room one afternoon, Justin was no longer shocked to find that he was feeling a lot of things. Though he knew he had to be crossing lines at this point, when he thought no one was paying him mind, he couldn’t help but stray his eyes over the other athlete’s broad shoulders, his arms, and the lines of the muscles that toned his body. When he checked in on how he was feeling then, he was pretty sure that I’d like to feel him pressed against my back again, but shirtless this time was a pretty not-straight reaction. But, then, there were his eyes. They were so expressive as he discussed something with Justin, something that seemed insignificant compared to ignoring the words in favor of wondering if Charlie looked other boys in the eye so deeply like this.
“Hello? Earth to England?”
Oh. He had found himself lost in those blue eyes instead of following the conversation, what a dreamy color. Dreamy? Well that just can’t be good.
Blinking himself back to reality, Justin registered his friend’s questioning look. “Sorry, didn’t catch that, mate. Like, any of that.”
“You okay, my dude? You’ve been a bit spacey lately. Everything going okay?” Charlie asked, looking earnestly concerned.
“I’m alright, just a bit out of it. Don’t you worry about me though.” Justin hoped the explanation would suffice as he tried to think straight again. Though straight just seems wildly inaccurate now, doesn’t it? No use lying to yourself, now, Bancroft.
His thoughts were interrupted when Charlie placed a hand firmly on Justin’s shoulder, staring intently into his soft, enraptured eyes with his own devastatingly intense ones. “I’m the first to know if something’s up, Justin, remember? I’m here for you if there’s anything wrong.”
“Trust me, Chaz, you’d be the first to know,” Justin managed to get out as Charlie nodded and brushed past him, out the door. He took a steadying breath before also exiting into the hallway, making a point to take a turn opposite of Charlie’s route.
Well I’ll be damned. I believe I’ve fallen in love with Charlie Amos.
Daltonfic Big Bang 2020: Week 1, Day 7; NSFW Wildcard
“Bullshit.” Charlie countered. “I’m sure there are Jazz bands that have a French horn. Besides, I dropped Music this year so when else am I ever going to play saxophone?”
“Why can’t we be the house band?” Charlie asked, the first day he and Justin were allowed into the Seniors Lounge. Or rather, the first day they were given the email and directions to the real Seniors lounge.
“Because I play French Horn, and that’s not a jazz instrument.” Justin said, sipping on his drink as if it was actually for the taste; rather than enjoying the ridiculous, prohibition style speakeasy that the previous Seniors of Dalton and Dobry had set up right under the noses of administration.
“Bullshit.” Charlie countered. “I’m sure there are Jazz bands that have a French horn. Besides, I dropped Music this year so when else am I ever going to play saxophone?”
“I don’t know, you can just play ‘Careless Whisper’ to yourself alone in your room?” Justin joked, earning him a shove to the side.
“Hey I’m serious, it could be fun.”
“I don’t know mate, it could also go badly. Who else would even join? We’d need a few more people, unless you want to just play with the group Cobb hired from last year?” Justin asked, gesturing to the small four piece on the raised platform across the room.
The lounge was small, and the way it was on a Friday night between Sydney trying to host a poker tournament, or Kerry Jeffords trying to get Roland to swing dance with her, it got crowded. That didn’t stop them from hiring a live jazz band to make the prohibition style décor more authentic.
Hope appeared by Charlie’s elbow, a drink in both hands for herself and Sydney. “I think that’d be a great idea. You could get Kyle from Stuart, he’s a wonderful drummer. He did the drumline in Cadets, Sydney told me.”
“He’s a Stuart though.” Charlie complained. “I don’t want to play with a Stuart.”
“You’ll play nice with a Hanover though.” She pointed out.
“Hanover’s Switzerland in their dick measuring contest though, we’re neutral.” Justin smiled.
Hope jokingly rolled her eyes, “are dicks all you boys ever care about?”
“Seriously, I don’t want to do Jazz with a Stuart.”
Justin sighed, “How about I get Roland and Spencer in on it? Roland plays guitar but maybe we could ask him to do bass? And Spencer knows enough piano to be useful. There, now you’re just playing with Hanovers and one other guy.”
Hope giggled. “If you do get this figured out, let me know. We had to scrap a cover of ‘Feeling Good’ for the Terpsichores, but I’d love to use it somewhere else.”
Charlie paused, considered what could be, and prompted agreed. Justin shook his head and downed the rest of his drink, as Hope sauntered away with a smile.
“Chaz, you’re really sad. She’s got a girlfriend.” He said, spying Sydney kissing Hope’s cheek as she sat down next to her across the room.
“I know, I know. And like, I still think she’s- wow- but, I’m getting over it I swear. But like, have you ever heard ‘Feeling Good’? It’s hot.” He leant his chin on his hand. “I’d be down even if it was the only song she ever did with us.”
“So there is an ‘us’ now? What about not wanting to work with a Stuart? Who isn’t even guaranteed by the way?” Justin asked.
“Why not?”
“If you want to be in a Jazz band hard enough to work through dealing with Stuarts, I’ll join.” Justin relented.
“I love you- this is great!”
Justin refilled his tumbler, trying not to cut his tongue with how hard he was biting it and the bitter words he wanted to say. “Yeah, love you too mate.”
---
Roland was easy to convince to get onto a bass; he’d always wanted to try a jazz band after playing classical for so long in music class. A quick electric pedal modified the sound to an upright bass, and they were off with that. Spencer’s ragtime was rusty, but serviceable enough for the endeavour. And overall, Kyle from Stuart wasn’t even that concerned about working with a Windsor, but rather if that Hope Clayton would really be singing for them. Between the group of young, single lads, Justin was confused to find a common unitor of adoration for the soft blond.
Well, he only had to see her step up to their vintage mic, her hair done up with a deep red dress, next Friday to see why.
“Birds in the sky, you know how I feel,” Hope sang to Sydney at first, before turning to the rest of the Seniors who had gathered there that Friday night. The Seniors were spellbound.
Justin let out a breath. Fitting as he was playing a brass instrument, but Charlie raised his eyebrows next to Justin. Okay, he’d eat any concerns he had about having Hope sing for them. This might be a little hot.
Hope travelled around the small room, swatting away anyone reaching out, but doing so with a wink. She smirked and drawled her way through the words, sitting on the end of Spencer’s piano bench as she drew the words out in her lower register.
“It’s a new dawn, it’s a new day, it’s a new life.” Her eyes met Justin’s, a sly look before dismissing him. “And I’m feeling good.”
He could hear the stutter in Charlie’s saxophone and he felt annoyed he did so as well. Spencer and Roland managed to make it through, but the five of them, as well as the assembled were so entranced. He was glad there was a music stand in front of him. Hell, he didn’t even know demure Hope could channel this kind of a bombshell. Though, if anyone let it be known they were getting keyed up, Sydney would probably kill them right there and there. Murder was simply not on the agenda.
They played another few songs with Hope after that, but the energy remained palpable. Every coy look or wink Hope played up was just another reminder it was an act, but goddamn was it a convincing one. No wonder Charlie’d had a crush on her for ages. Maybe he should keep focusing on Hope; after all, one unattainable crush wasn’t any worse than another? Was it?
---
“What the hell was that?” Kyle asked, sitting back in the small backroom they’d commandeered for practising and storing the instruments. The five of them had brought the last of the whiskey with them, passing it around and ostensibly putting the drums away. It’d just devolved into trying to process the tension.
“I didn’t know Clayton could sing like that.” Roland said, passing the bottle and wiping his mouth. “I mean I knew she had pipes but I wasn’t expecting a Jessica Rabbit 2.0.”
“Hey, knock it off, that’s my sister’s girlfriend you’re talking about.” Spencer said without much gusto as he’d already said he’d had a crush on Hope before his sister did.
Roland nudged his fellow Hanover in the head with his foot, sprawled across the couch without a care. “I am not objectifying her. I’m just saying, holy hell, that is a jazz lady.”
“I mean, isn’t that objectification?” Justin asked.
“It’s her voice though.” Roland sighed in contentment.
“Is that what the group is called now? The Jazz Lady and her boys?” Kyle asked. He finished off the whiskey, grunting in annoyance. Justin just pulled out another bottle behind his French Horn case.
“It’s probably not a good idea unless you want everyone to fall in love with her.” Charlie pointed out.
Spencer frowned, “I forgot about your crush on her, tough luck Chaz.”
“I mean, I’m getting over it. This is just like, a good high point to go out on.” Charlie shrugged.
“Well, how about Charlie and the Boys?” Roland said, spreading his hands out in front of him. “No, Chazzy and the Jazzy Boys?”
Kyle snorted, “You’re not thinking hard enough. Jazzy Chazzy and the Beats Boys.”
“Like Beach Boys?” Spencer suggested.
“More like Beat off Boys. Cause damn Clayton has me wired.” Roland groaned.
“Ha Beat off.” Kyle said, more than a little drunk.
“Hey!” Justin cut in, before sharing a look with the others and… yeah. The noise of discontentment Roland made didn’t help.
“I mean, he’s not wrong.” Kyle said.
“I’d argue, but oh my god I think I’m going to explode.” Charlie admitted, “God, she’d kill me if she knew.”
“Technically her girlfriend would kill you. There’s no crime in thinking she’s hot though.” Spencer agreed. Justin reluctantly thirded, taking a deep swig from the second bottle he stole back from Kyle.
“I just,” Charlie sighed, “ugh fuck.”
“Yeah exactly!” Roland said, patting him on the shoulder, leaning into him with a smile. “One good lay and the mere sound of Clayton’s voice isn’t going to do a damn thing. It’s just been a while man.”
“Been a while is an understatement.” Spencer sighed. Poor Spencer, holding a torch for someone who wouldn’t even give you the time of day. At least he wasn’t pining from afar. Just, you know, like an idiot from close up.
“Yeah, you need to just get laid and move on.” Justin suggested, taking the bottle from Spencer. He leant in, taking a drink and passing it over to Charlie.
Charlie accepted, taking a drink. Roland still on his shoulder looking like he’d suddenly found his new favourite thing. “What, you offering?”
Justin might need to be more drunk for this.
Kyle snorted, the lower lines of the song bumbling out in his best Hope impression. “I’m feeling good.”
Charlie didn’t need to take the hint, his mouth on Justin’s within the end of the note. Justin didn’t want to lean into it, too sure he was hallucinating, but he couldn’t help himself. It went too far too quickly, and when he opened his eyes, Charlie was still watching his mouth. Roland was staring, slumped over Charlie’s side with a slack look of shock.
“I may not be gay, but that’s hot.” Roland said, a slow look of amazement spreading across his face.
“I don’t know, bi people exist?” Charlie said, looking Roland in the eye.
“Yeah we do.” Spencer said, quietly enough to be heard as they all suddenly seemed to realise at the same time how small the room is.
“Okay, it may just be the whiskey talking, but can I kiss you too?” Roland asked, intrigued and clingy.
Justin wasn’t sure if he felt disappointed, or excited when Charlie nodded. On the one hand, he wanted to be the only one with his hands on Charlie; on the other hand, if it got Charlie over Hope… and he couldn’t deny, the noises Roland was making, slotted up against Charlie. Fuck.
“Oh damn.” Kyle’s voice sounded, but it wasn’t really an objection. “I guess, this is the point we leave the room?”
“Or a, don’t leave the room and this might as well happen?” Spencer stared at Charlie and Roland, tentatively inching forward as much as he could without touching them. Roland grunted, Charlie’s hands on him.
Justin thought for a moment, he could be selfish, or he could let it go; he bit his lip. He could just reach out… but Spencer got there first, touching Roland’s shoulder and getting pulled in between the two. Justin looked over at their fifth, sitting on the armrest; “Hey, Kyle, you in or out mate?”
Kyle acted like a deer in the headlights. “I’m not gay though.”
Justin pointedly frowned. Beside him, Spencer groaned, Roland’s hands down his pants and Charlie’s mouth on his neck. He’d say it escalated quickly, but he’d be lying if he wasn’t getting into the sight.
Justin stood up, standing in front of Kyle. “In, or out? No pressure. But it might be a lot in a minute.”
“I- uh, in?” Kyle looked up at Justin, touching his chest apparently in spite of himself.
Behind them, Justin could hear a shucking of pants. Yeah. It was going to be a lot really quickly. He heard Charlie’s satisfied grunt, nearly jumping with how much he wanted to hear that noise again.
“So you’re good with…” Justin didn’t even have to ask before Kyle’d fisted his hands into Justin’s shirt and pulled him down for a rough kiss, needy and desperate. Justin stumbled the two steps backwards it took to fall back on the couch, a lapful of Kyle and an elbow on the other three.
Yeah. This was happening.
---
Somewhere in the distant future of an hour later; Spencer was resting against Roland’s bare legs, hair a mess and sticking up at awkward angles. Roland was absently petting Kyle’s hair, who was dozing, warm and content across Charlie and Justin’s laps; who were still winded and confused, but ultimately satisfied.
“Did we just?” Charlie asked, his mouth bruised and throat sore.
“Yeah.” Justin said hoarsely, looking at the opposite wall. He felt Kyle shift. Was this how his day had ended?
“That was good.” Charlie’s smile of disbelief was audible.
“Really good.”
The two of them shot a look to the other three, then to one another.
“I liked this.” Charlie bit his lip.
“Yeah. Me too.” Justin felt his heart clench.
“I might not be straight guys.” Roland said, cutting into it. “Because fuck. That was a fuck.”
“Good to know you liked it.” Spencer said, before hiding his face embarrassed between Roland’s leg and the couch cushion.
“First time my ass, you’ve done this before Willis.”
“I swear! I’ve only ever made out with guys.”
“Go big or go home.” Charlie commented.
Justin smiled, “Yeah, Jazzy Chazzy, was that a home run you damn yankee?”
Charlie pushed his shoulder. “Ok, you’re going to get it for that.”
“I already got it.”
“Oh you shitty redcoat! I swear to god!” Charlie nearly upset Kyle from their bare laps, trying to rise up and mock fight with his friend.
Justin felt that discomfort from earlier ebb away. At the end of the day, this was his friend. No matter how he felt otherwise.
“I’m the whore of Babylon, I don’t know how you all put up with me.” Roland moaned, smiling at the others.
Daltonfic Big Bang: Week 3, Day 7; NSFW Wildcard 3
Part 1: [Here]
“You did a good job tonight.”
“He always does a good job.”
“Yeah, yeah there’s a joke in there.”
“If you ask me to play Let’s Get it On I will punch you so hard…”
Roland just laughed at the two of them, Spencer sprawled across Charlie’s lap with his pants off already.
“It would set the mood nicely.” Kyle smiled, finally given up on making excuses for whatever it was they were doing there after their jazz band performances.
“It doesn’t mean I want to have to burn my saxophone after this.” Charlie complained.
Justin shrugged off his suspenders, kicking them and his trousers to the other side of the room, Charlie already making motions for him to come over and join them.
It had been a few weeks of this. Justin didn’t know what they were doing, the jazz band apparently going hand in hand with just fucking one another after each show. Hope turning them on didn’t factor into it after she gave them all a weird look and turned down preforming with them anymore. Something about ‘they were being weird’; which, from the general feel he was getting from the group now, might have been incredibly charitable of her.
He still hurt every time he sat down like this, Charlie kissing him with intention to switch between each one of their group, but he’d take what he could get. He’d admit the largest reason he was here was Charlie; but he couldn’t deny he hadn’t expected to like Roland’s hands on his ass, or Spencer’s mouth on his cock, or even fucking Kyle until the Stuart came all over their back room couch (which should get cleaned, but none of them could muster up the effort to tell anyone).
Charlie’s tongue in his mouth was a familiar feeling now, moaning into his touch, greedily pulling him forward onto the couch. His knee hit Spencer, who just reached up his leg to pull at his underwear. They were all horny, and that was a recipe for getting down to it immediately. Roland didn’t have to take a hint before he was at Spencer’s hip and biting at his skin.
Justin ignored all his longing that Charlie would kiss him like this outside of this room and leant into it. He could feel Spencer’s hand on his cock already, stoking him firmly.
“You did a good job tonight.” Kyle said, face turned to Roland but Roland wasn’t paying much attention, tongue on the tip of Spencer’s cock; the most eager of the five of them.
“He always does a good job.” Spencer said, smiling up at Charlie and Justin with a bit of difficulty as he shifted under Roland’s mouth.
“Yeah, yeah there’s a joke in there.” Charlie murmured between kisses, pulling Justin closer to him. “Just shift over, I want Justin on the couch properly.”
“This couch isn’t that big.” Kyle said, pulling on a condom stashed in Charlie’s saxophone case. He patted Roland’s ass, “You okay man?”
Roland squirmed, making pleased noises as he sucked at Spencer harder. Spencer moaned, his grip slackening on Justin. “Fuck, you don’t- ah, waste time.”
“No time like the present.” Roland said, grinning and going back to licking a long stripe down Spencer’s dick. Kyle laughed, pressing a finger between his cheeks and pulling Roland closer. The trio of satisfied noises was enough to distract Charlie, who took his mouth away from Justin’s with a wet noise, focusing on the boy in his lap.
“You look a little overwhelmed there Spence.” Justin said, his own hand replacing Spencer’s on his dick.
“You’re not going to blow it before the rest of us right?” Charlie teased, brushing Spencer’s fringe back and shifting so Spencer was only resting on his leg not his erection.
Charlie bit his lower lip, eyes trailing down Spencer to the other two, Kyle already sliding into Roland who was holding it together like he’d done this all before- when by all accounts this was an outlier for them. A very large outlier.
“Fucking hell.” Justin said, taking the moment of distraction to press his body against Charlie’s, sucking marks against his neck.
“You said it.” Charlie agreed, his fingers pressing into Spencer’s mouth, who sucked them in eagerly.
The soft smacking of Kyle fucking Roland was the background noise to Justin pulling Charlie’s dick against his own, stoking them together in firm, swift strokes. Spencer sucked on Charlie’s fingers harder; their Windsor fifth groaning and swearing at the motion.
Roland sat back on Kyle’s dick, lost in the feeling of being full. The Stuart behind him just grunted, thrusting into him with gusto. Spencer didn’t mind, pulling away from choking on Charlie’s fingers to take himself in hand, sitting up to kiss the taste of himself out of Roland’s mouth.
“Fucking hell Bancroft, stop hogging Chaz.” Kyle said, fingers leaving marks on Roland’s sides- not that Roland noticed with Spencer grinding up against him.
“Well you’re over there, I never said- oh shit.”
Justin felt especially proud of himself, pressing his other hand into Charlie’s ass and cutting off his words for a longer moan.
“Sharing is caring man.” Kyle said, not stopping his rhythm as Roland stuttered.
“Well then pass a condom, like, you’re going to send Roland to sleep before the rest of us get a turn.” Justin suggested, his mouth going right back to Charlie’s throat, enamoured with the noises he was pulling out of him.
He could be annoyed, but it was also nice to see not just his own hands on Charlie- Kyle laughing at Roland’s swearing at being left hard, and halfway there. Spencer ended up shuffling them all around; trying to keep peace, even as Roland tugged him back again, desperate to get off.
Justin found himself the one caught between them, Kyle twisting two fingers up into him and Charlie standing in front of him, Justin’s mouth around his dick. Somewhere in the spread, Spencer was getting Roland off but still touching Kyle’s ass- hands trying to keep them all together.
“You’re doing good, shit, Justin you feel so good.” Charlie groaned, gripping his hair and trying to keep from thrusting too hard against Justin’s throat. He had him so deep, it was intoxicating. With Kyle’s fingers in him, he felt like he could come at any moment.
“God this is a view.” Roland breathed, halfway off the couch, “Fuck I’m close. You guys give a good show.”
“Well, we aren’t a band for nothing.” Kyle joked, pulling a moan out of Justin as he added another finger. Most of the lube was gone on Roland, so they had to be a little more careful.
Roland didn’t answer; and Justin could only hear him swear as he came into Spencer’s mouth. He didn’t concentrate on it; he could only feel the heat under his skin jump, Charlie’s fist in his hair pulling at the roots like he wanted to fuck his face harder. He was so close. He could feel it building in him, but-
“I come first.” Charlie’s voice said firmly. “Fuck, I want to feel you swallow around me.”
Justin’s hands clenched around Charlie’s thighs, eagerly sucking him down even though he couldn’t go any further. Kyle’s chuckle behind him didn’t matter; it didn’t matter if he looked depraved, desperate for Charlie’s cock to blow it all down his throat. He wanted to look up and see Charlie be pleased with him. Shit, he wanted to hear that tone again.
His eyes were half open, he could see Spencer around the curve of Charlie’s hip, mouth at Charlie’s ass with loud slurping noises that Justin had to beat. He cried out- pausing- Kyle’d crooked his fingers in and up, finding that spot inside him that made his dick jump and his breath stop. No, no. Not before Charlie could have him.
Charlie tugged his head up and away from where he had stopped, his mouth against the juncture of Charlie’s hip. “Keep going. That’s an order.”
Oh fuck. He squirmed against Kyle’s touch, relishing the twist in Charlie’s voice and the shaking he and Spencer were pulling out of him. His cock was leaking, with the push of Kyle’s against his back. He looked up, cheeks hallowed and bobbing along Charlie’s length. Charlie’s eyes were half closed, struggling to keep a steady breath as he bucked between two mouths that were competing to make him come.
“God you’re hot.” Roland said, already wrung out beside Kyle, lazily stroking himself even though he wasn’t getting hard again after Spencer cleaned him off. “The four of you, you’re fucking great.”
Justin couldn’t shoot back a snarky comment, Charlie gripped his hair, pushing him forward with a sharp groan, rolling his hips as he came. “Fuck!”
It was really all it took to have Justin falling over the edge after him, licking his lips and gasping around Charlie’s dick to clean him off. Kyle didn’t take long either, already half gone from fucking Roland, grinding against Justin’s ass until he spilled out.
“We’re a fucking mess bro.” Roland said, slapping Kyle on the shoulder as they tried to catch their breath. “Like, my trousers are going to stiff. STIFF!”
“Not if you try to clean yourself off, you nasty ass-”
“Hey, stop it you two.” Spencer admonished, wrung out and leaning against Charlie’s legs, murmuring into his skin.
“Aw, Spence is tired.” Charlie said, kneeling down to pet Spencer’s hair and pull him up onto the couch with them. This time, Spencer and Roland were the ones who got spread out and rested on the other’s laps.
“Yeah.” Spencer breathed, letting Justin touch him and settle the shakes that still lingered. He might not have come as obviously at the rest of them, but he was clearly tired enough he couldn’t take much more.
“Everyone okay?” Charlie asked to the group.
“Fuck, more than.” Kyle said, getting a ‘hell yeah’ from Roland.
Justin smiled, mostly to himself as he still tasted salt on his tongue from Charlie. Fuck he wanted to kiss him again. But, he didn’t want an audience this time.
“I, I don’t think I want to do this again.” Spencer said quietly.
“Wait, what?” Charlie asked. The rest were also confused.
“Uh, I think this is the last time I’m going to stick around for this.” Spencer admitted. “I, I think I want to ask Merril out properly. And even if she says no, I don’t want to treat you guys as just some kind of backup. And, if she says yes… then, fuck I don’t want to explain all this to her.”
“You’d have to mention it though; condoms are good, but Kyle’s fucked you so you should mention it.” Roland pointed out. “You shouldn’t just hide it from her.”
Spencer groaned. “I know, I know. But I’m not going to say, ‘hey do you want to go out with me- also, I just fucked four of my friends and one of them had herpes last year so, you should know that before I even have our first date!”
“I guess.” Roland conceded. “She’s a proper lady. She’s probably the wait until marriage type.”
“She’s beautiful.” Spencer sighed. “And I’m not trying to sleep with her. I want to date her.”
“Fair enough.” Charlie said. “We support you Spence. And if she does reject you, well, we’ll still be playing music right?”
“Yeah, someone has to keep you from picking shitty songs.”
“Summertime is a good song!” Charlie insisted as Spencer and the others burst into laughter.
“It’s overplayed Chaz.” Justin said, ribbing him.
“You all are impossible.”
“Eh, you love us man.” Kyle said, leaning back against the well-used couch.
“Yeah, I guess I do.”
Justin wasn’t sure; but he could have sworn Charlie looked just at him when he said it. But it could have been a trick of the light. A guy could dream…
and, of course, to @cpcoulter-com. Alternately titled “To the Dalton Boy Reading This Letter”:
This story has been a journey. A journey of roughly seven years. Anyone who fell down that rabbit hole long ago, yet never truly left Warblerland, knows personally how much can happen in seven years, in the world as a whole as well as in their own lives. Now, here we are at the start of a new year, 2018.
Whenever this next update comes, myself and (what I hope to still be) a small army of people are going to experience so many emotions no matter what happens in the story itself. I’ve reconnected with so many people in the past month about Dalton as well as connected with new people as we anticipate that moment. All of this because of this constant in our lives: this one very good story. We’re here because the waiting is worth it and because, as I mentioned earlier, we never really left Warblerland behind despite the rest of our lives changing over the years. A part of it always stuck with us because it moved us, touched us, understood us.
I’ve been making dumb posts because 1.) I think I’m funnier than I actually am and 2.) people have been actually encouraging this nonsense by reblogging. I will continue to do so. I will also continue to scream at people I know about how anxious I’m getting for this update to just be here already. That being said, I wouldn’t be constantly filling the ‘daltonfic’ tag with my garbage if I didn’t have hope it would increase the activity of other, more eloquent, and talented members of this fandom who have been dormant for many years. I also wouldn’t be so restless about this update if I knew it wasn’t going to be brilliant and so, so worth the wait. Which is why, to CP, I say sorry about the crazy. Please, take your time. We know it will be ready when it’s meant to be.
And, also to CP, thank you. Thank you for continuing your work even though we have no idea what has gone on in your life all these years. Your commitment is commendable, and we really do appreciate it despite how much we may act melodramatic over it. It’s only because you’ve given the world such wonderful things, things that adults who may have began this journey in middle school can still hold on to, relate to, and love.
I reread Dalton fully in anticipation for the next chapter. It moved me as much if not more as the first time through. It was as if revisiting old, dear friends. The characters and stories have always stayed in my heart, entering my thoughts from time to time, and I’m not actually sure they’d ever leave. Not that I’d ever want them to. They never fail to bring a smile to my face and warmth to my soul.
This is a really special work CP Coulter created. I just wanted to post at least one sincere thing about it before the fateful day because I certainly won’t be coherent enough to properly convey what I want to convey. So thank you for letting us be a part of something this special.
With love, Hannah. Anyone out there reading this, please remember to
