Heracross is both Swarm and Timid, unfortunately

I'll just say, if you can manage to evolve Togepi into Togetic before Ecruteak (without it dying, naturally), it can basically sweep the gym so long as you have enough Awakenings.
I expect to have him evolved sometime in Goldenrod, honestly~

The main issue is that you don't get the Metal Coat until after the E4, so it depends if you want to use Onix over Golem for the first half or grind up Onix to an appropriate level after the first half.
I’d just steal a Metal Coat off a Magnemite around Olivine tbqh? Much easier than waiting.
