𝟙𝟟 - ✵𝕋𝕙𝕖 𝕊𝕥𝕒𝕣 ✵
After any period of turmoil and darkness, a small light of hope appears. As time goes on, this glimmer will grow and bring with it peace and stability. The Star represents that tiny light amidst the darkness, renewing life and reminding us of our kinship with the Universe. In times of dire stress, physically or emotionally, an Avatar can go into ‘Avatar State’ which allows for cosmic connections with all of the Avatars of the past, drastically increasing the Avatar’s knowledge and power. While an accomplished Avatar can invoke this at will, it is when one is pushed to their physical or emotional limit that this last-hope defense mechanism is activated. The Avatar is then able to overcome almost any challenge he or she faces. Remember to keep your weary eyes fixed on The Star for there is always hope.
Upright: hope, faith, rebirth
Reverse: lack of faith, despair, insecurity

Choosing Toph to represent Strength did not take much consideration - a natural choice! It is common to see this card as focusing on one’s inner strength rather than brute strength, both emanated by my favorite Earthbender. I need to channel more of my inner-Toph a lot these days. 15 - 𝙏𝙝𝙚 𝘿𝙚𝙫𝙞𝙡
Fear, obsession, and insecurity can hold one back or even be the cause of one's downfall. While it appears that Princess Azula has a complete stronghold over all, her ties are based on threats and empty promises. Born a firebending prodigy, she is also a master of manipulation, and second to only her father, Firelord Ozai. Yet, in the end her throne room is deserted, filled with only the bitter hue of her blue flames. Even her closest ‘friends’, Mai and Ty Lee, choose prison over remaining under her control. Like Azula’s lightning, her power is seductively brilliant, but fleeting and deadly. Resist the allure of materialistic pleasure before you become enslaved by insatiable desire.

Ｔｈｅ Ｂｌｕｅ Ｓｐｉｒｉｔ
Drawing this card marks the end of a life phase. For change to happen a sacrifice must be made and while this loss might be painful, it allows room for something new to flourish. The discarded mask of the Blue Spirit symbolizes the shedding of outgrown patterns. It lingers on the surface for just a moment before succumbing to full submersion. Water, as the element of change, swallows the old way whole making room for a glorious transformation. This card should not be feared for it is nothing more than leaving the past behind.
Upright: endings, metamorphosis, change
Reverse: fear of change, holding on, stagnation
