Me: “I am really dubious about Dominion’s chances. I think it’s going to be the Jurassic Park 3 of the Jurassic World trilogy.” 

Toy Leak: “There’s a Baryonyx with a metal arm.”

Me: “Greatest movie of all time. 10/10. No crtiicisms.”

I didn’t catch it on the first watch, but I realized on my second time viewing the trailer that Claire jumping over the rooftops with a raptor hot on her heels is probably a direct homage to the Ellie-on-the-rooftop scene from the original novel!

Dominion is probably going to go something like this:

Dodgson: “Ah, Miss Dearing. Glad you could make it. I just wanted to unveil our new flock of Gallimimus.”

Claire: “  ‘Flock’? The news reports said that you had only made two.”

Dodgson: “All part of the surprise--we have made thirty-six of them, and they’re being released into the hunting fields right now.”

Claire: “How did you train thirty-six Gallimimus in under a year?”

Dodgson: “’Train’?”

Claire: “Yes. Imprinting after hatching, the first-week time-sharing to make them comfortable with other people, the two-week open nursery program, aromatherapy for different people smells, the herd-integration exercises to make them less timid around other species, tests to make sure the drugs you gave them during puberty to make them less ornery are working, the running exercises, treat reinforcement, nighttime therapy, brooding practice...did you do any of those?”

Dodgson: “...they’ll be fine.”

*sounds of screaming sport hunters and Gallimimus savagery*
