Robots aren't meant to replace manual labor, Darius. Silly.
In a just world, we would have had a whole episode of Mae and Darius bonding that's just him pestering her with questions that she's excitedly babbling out answers to, in an endless feedback loop of Nerds Who Haven't Found Someone On Their Level In Months.
Meanwhile Ben and Brooklynn suffer in the corner as they try to bond, while Yaz and Sammy and Kenji go have some solo quest of their own.
Ladies and Gentlemen and Others, may I present: the finalized calendar for Camp Cretaceous (Summer Edition).
I mapped out day changes, read the books, cross-referenced with Chaos Theory, and did a lot of meticulous examination...and this works.
Note: the labels are tagged with their simplest and most memorable events. The events in Yellow are Anchor Dates--they're the ones that have Actual Evidence In-Canon supporting them. Details below!
Alas, Poor BRAD...an artificial being with gaseous jets! Darius barely knew him, BRAD-X.
Look at his little pump-up run!
Some excerpts from the Camp Cretaceous Season 4 novel to provide script comparisons:
-Kash was supposed to see smoke rising. There was also supposed to be a fireplace.
-Ben and Yaz were supposed to be using extra bandages from Mae's medkit to throw rocks while Sammy kept them loaded. They just threw them in the show.
-Kenji was gonna try to help Darius
-Darius had a line about "yesterday"
-There were some bits cut from the nursery. Glad they didn't include the swab--it would have been too obvious
Paused the episode while giffing and that's actually a REALLY good expression, pose, and composition. Right in the 1/3 zone. If Kenji's leg and shorts weren't there, that'd be painterly.
See, it almost works here. I think her expression is just a little too different.
