Taking Control of Your Fears | IT GIRL DIARIES
Fear often shows up as a small, persistent voice in the back of our minds, whispering doubts and “what ifs.” This negative inner dialogue becomes a wall between us and our dreams. It might come from a fear of failure, judgment, or just feeling unsure of ourselves. That voice can hold us back from doing the things we truly want, whether it’s starting a business, switching careers, or chasing a passion project.
I’ve been there, letting that voice take over and dictate my actions—or worse, my inactions. It would tell me, “You’re going to mess this up” or “It’s not going to work.” Over time, I realized those weren’t just my own doubts but the opinions of others I’d let into my head. By having accepted their poison and allowing it to become a consistent habitual thought during doubtful times.
What if it goes wrong? So what? Even if things don’t work out perfectly, life doesn’t stop. The world keeps moving, and you can move with it. Controlling every outcome in life would be impossible, sure you can plan accordingly but you will never be certain of the result until it comes. Always choose to try, no matter what.
Truth is, we live in a world full of people with their own struggles and dreams. We have the power to shape our lives, but setbacks will happen, and that’s okay. Taking control of your fears means doing the thing, even if you’re scared, even if it doesn't work out. It means silencing the doubts and knowing that failure is just a lesson & a step forward, not the end.
So start that business, get that job, speak up in class, reach out, buy something you've always wanted to, go bungee jumping, sign up for that thing, go on that date, change your hair, go to the gym, take that cooking lesson, travel the world, take the leap. Embrace action over doubts.
With the new year approaching, take a chance, start it off doing something you've been holding back from. Begin fresh.

initially, adora wasn't so much the wielder of a weapon as she was wielded by the weapon
^the blinding glint of the first one's she-ra, who catra felt adora left her to become
^the strong glow of adora's own she-ra, who she only became after risking everything to go back for catra
cause this she-ra doesn't fight for the first ones.
adora's she-ra was chosen by etheria. and she fights for her home, herself, & her friends.

Fat rolls and cellulite because I eat food, scars because I have a history, stretch marks and acne because I have a hormonal condition, glasses because my eyes don’t work…. Just me doing my best, take it or leave it. ✨

Shortly before artificial sunrise, Darius helps his friends infiltrate the compound. Forced to separate from them by an early-to-rise Kash, Darius distracts his captor by playing on his gamer ego (and quickly finds that his own ego is just as vulnerable when Kash manipulates the program in his favor).
Sammy discovers that she is now a teenage mother of two, but quickly copes by helping her babies escape to freedom...unfortunately not before her troublesome tykes accidentally free a Ceratosaurus. Alerted to the security breach, Kash goes to investigate...and soon discovers that the babies are missing.
Scattered by the predator attack, the kids eventually rendezvous in the jungle biome while Darius convinces Kash to search the entire sublevel of the complex, Eventually, Kash notices a raised feeding platform and realizes that he needs to expand the search.
The newly-deployed fleet of BRAD-X models locate the baby Brachiosaurus in the afternoon, and Kash tests one of his prototype chips on the unfortunate creature...but the results are disappointing, with the infant apparently failing to understand any command besides "stop".
Unable to stand down anymore, Ben decides to enact an escape plan, and uses Brooklynn's BRAD-X to convey the message to Darius. Late in the afternoon, Darius calls Kash back outside to begin a dangerous game of tag, luring him into the forest biome where they can spring a trap. They are unprepared for a delivery of new Pteranodons that threaten to disrupt the operation; fortunately, they disrupt Kash, too, who takes time subduing the creatures before following one of the babies to a waterfall. Tricked and locked inside, Kash can only scream with rage as he finally realizes that he's been deceived for the past week.
As evening approaches, Ben returns to the basement to retrieve the baby Brachiosaurus--appropriately named "Firecracker". They reunite with the rest of the CampFam and Mae, and for the first time in a week, the Nublar Six are safe, reunited, and most importantly: free.
Five days to demo.
