Just wanted to say I had a great time writing this based on your prompts of Imperial Jyn / winter setting. Your requests were the inspiration for the longest story I've written in a very long time, so thank you so much, and I've really enjoyed our interactions and getting to know you over this RCSS!

1. What made you ship it? the Eadu scene <3 not even kidding. it was delicious

2. What are your favorite things about the ship? the way they're equals, they're each other's home, they're the definition of right person wrong time, they're so compatible and perfect for each other, their strenghts and flaws and pain all complement the other's, the battle coupleism, the what could have been, the soulmatism and mirrors and red string of fate of it all. beautiful

3. Is there an unpopular opinion you have on your ship? I mean idk how unpopular this is but they wouldn't have kids during the war. if they SOMEHOW accidentally conceived (which even that I find hard to believe), I think they'd choose abortion. I'm not against them having kids in general but not during the war, not even as an accident, sorry. also they were both right and wrong in the Eadu argument and THAT'S THE POINT!!

Cassian stands up and shakes the man’s hand. “You’re—“ “The PA, yeah,” the man finishes for him, grinning. “Name’s Bodhi Rook.” “Bodhi,” Cassian repeats. “Nice to meet you. Well, properly anyway. I’m—“ “Cassian,” Bodhi supplies, moving some of the plastic wrapped linens off the couch to sit. “Er— that is your real name, right?” “Yes, it’s my real name,” he says with an amused huff. He sits back down in the make up chair. “It’s not that serious.” Bodhi grins. “Well, that’s good to know.” He shakes his head, shifting forward eagerly, his elbows on his knees. “This is completely new to me… this like… undercover stuff. I hope I don’t mess anything up.” “No, no, you won’t mess anything up.” Cassian pulls out a notebook and pen, flips a few pages. “Did Draven fill you in on everything?” Bodhi nods enthusiastically. Cassian inwardly scoffs— no one should ever be that excited after speaking to Davits Draven. “Every other shoot day we meet up at a designated location so you can give me your notebook, which I’ll mail to your office.” “Not to my office,” Cassian corrects under his breath as he jots Kay’s address down. He rips it from his notebook and passes it over to Bodhi. “That’s my associate editor’s address. Send it directly to him.” Bodhi takes the scrap of paper with raised eyebrows, seeming apprehensive. “That’s not what Mr. Draven told me.” “Mr. Draven will get over it,” Cassian assures within a sigh. “What else did he tell you?” Bodhi blinks, folds up the paper and tucks it into the pocket of his well-worn jeans. “That I am also to brief you on any information that I feel is pertinent without violating my NDA.” Cassian puffs a little derisive breath, shaking his head as he notes the date and time in his notes. “I could’ve done with a bit more intelligence going into the pods today.” Bodhi’s face falls at that. “I’m sorry about that,” the man says so sincerely Cassian kind of feels bad for bringing it up. “But… well, we have a process to catch stuff like that, you know? And… well… well, you weren’t exactly a normal contestant. We didn’t see the need… or have the time to run you through the proper—“ Cassian holds out a hand to stall him. “It’s fine, it’s fine… I was joking. Mostly.” He returns to his notebook, jotting down Bodhi’s name, their meeting schedule… mostly for posterity. “It’s nothing. Who ever runs into an ex at an opprotune time, you know?”

i NEED jyn vs poe. the ultimate rivalry

this one is actually like 95% done!! and i am so happy with it! it's based off a meme posted on @rogueonememes a couple months ago

here's the opening bit:

Jyn Erso is absolutely not beefing with an infant.  She is happy for Shara, she is glad to see the way the woman’s face lights up and laughs as baby Poe squirms in her arms. Shara and Kes are obsessed with their son, and they love sharing him with others, so Jyn has been around him often already, even if she tends to keep her distance. She’s not avoiding her turn holding the baby, it just hasn’t come up yet. Like it’s a task to check off her to-do list. Other things take priority.  She’s not the only one. She hasn’t seen Cassian hold him either. It means if she noticed, he’s definitely noticed it on her end, but he hasn’t brought it up. He has a tendency to push her to talk, and she hates it about half the time, but he’s also allergic to talking in his own way, so whatever this strange solidarity is, she’ll take it for now. Because she’s not mad at a kriffing baby. He’s just a baby. Jyn likes babies well enough, even if she’s a little awkward around them. Sometimes she finds kids easier to talk to than adults, but mostly because she talks to them just like adults always talked to her, and she turned out fine, thank you very much Bodhi. Bodhi disagrees. Cassian does not. They outvoted him, and he threw his hands up in exasperation.

anyway it started off as a funny fic about jyn being jealous of a baby and then it also got sad and took a nosedive into jyn's parental issues and i will hopefully publish it soon! it's about 6k. rebelcaptain, but also shara bey and jyn friendship because Women.

for no reason at all, i will put this behind a read more

at this point, i'm waiting until the season plays out before i fully decide on the direction that has been taken, especially as someone who reads daredevil comics. because this could very well be a loose adaptation of the brubaker run, where foggy survived an assassination attempt and went into witness protection, and everyone, including matt, thought he was dead for a good chunk of time. he could be dead dead, or he might not be. we'll see.
