Consider, every hidden boss (up to Ch. 3) was given some form of meta knowledge that they can't comprehend; they know secrets about the world, and possibly ways to manipulate it. Spamton being a prime example, seeing "Strings" that weren't there until NEO.

The information K_K could read on the disk, is how to manipulate the very rules of the world to his advantage, as the sort of turn based system is endemic to the universe of Undertale.

Darkners operate entirely off of game rules.

And it wouldn't be the first time someone has gone outside the bounds of what should be possible in order to cheap out the player. Ex. Sans in Undertale placing bones inside of the option and text box

Essentially, K_K, through reading just enough of the disk, since his brain damage wouldn't be an instant process, would know how how to push the rules of the "Game" as far as he possibly can. Such as throwing off attacks by changing the timing on the fly, removing options that'd allow the player to speed up or get information.

Basically, K_K becomes a gradual counter to the game's UI and mechanics as the fight goes on. All the whole, this garbage noise continues to play throughout the entire fight.

And instead of cutting strings like in Spamton NEO's fight, your tear needs to try and reach K_K's eject button. Only thing is, he keeps getting longer the more you try and reach it. So you need to try and outspeed K_K to hit his eject button and remove the ROMDisk from his drive.

Which of course, results in something similar to how Spamton NEO's fight ends.

It's so weird going back and looking at my art from 2022 because I actually have a really hard time looking at it. And I used to draw a lot of Sweet Cap'n Cakes because I love them a lot. The image below is the old art. Anyway, I love my improvement.
