During and after the events of their universes TKO Rules, where TK-0 gets chucked into the subconscious for various committed crimes, he developed a habit of "balling up". He essentially curls up into a ball, using his hair spikes as a protective layer over him. It's usually a sort of defense mechanism for when he's feeling vulnerable. There's something slightly comforting about having a bunch of spikes over you.. Carol is actually the first one to see him doing this, as she finds him one morning balled up.
Instead of a cookie, K-0 throws a tiny Boxman plush at TK-0. He knows TK-0 will always crave Boxman's love and praise, just like his siblings. And that's why he attempted to destroy the plaza. The tiny Boxman however, becomes a comfort item for TK-0, and after everything gets better, he can usually be seen carrying it around, even missing it when in control of the body, so K-0 made him one for the real world too.
As for K-0, he feels TERRIBLE about throwing TK-0 there. He actively attempts to repair their relationship, even when TK-0 pushes him away. After a while their relationship gets better, and K-0 even allows TK-0 to have control of the body a few times, under close supervision of course.
K-0 also often struggles to sleep, so its not uncommon for him to end up staying with Carol during the night. Despite his sleeping issues, he still manages to have more than enough energy to power through each day!
Though, he has to be extra careful not to get damaged during any fights, because he can't reboot unlike his siblings. And last time he got badly damaged.. Well, it took a while to fix him.
