Workout or diet: Most of the times people miss understood the fact that only doing workout will result them in weight loss, as they will sweat during the workout the fat will burn and come out as salty water.🤷♂️ Let's investigate this fact quickly. What is fat or adipose tissue? Adipose tissue or body fat is the loose connective tissue composed of adipocytes. The main role of adipose tissue is to store the excess calories( we eat day in day out which our body can not use) in the form of fat. ____________________________________________ Obesity measured in animals, including humans is not on the body weight but on the amount of body fat specifically adipose tissue. ____________________________________________ Mammals have two types of adipose tissue : 1. White adipose tissue (WAT) 2. Brown adipose tissue (BAT) The adipose tissue which are located under the skin we call it Subcutaneous fat and which are found around internal organs called visceral fat. ____________________________________________ Now coming back to the topic, can workout directly reduce the body fat or adipose tissue? The answer is NO. Why❓ As I already mentioned that adipose tissue stored the excess calories as reserved energy sources for future use. We can not directly target those tank to burn as fuel and give us the energy while we workout. We need to create an environment in our body to do so. While our body will burn the fat to use as fuel then only we can lose the body fat. ____________________________________________ So in conclusion, if you want to know what is more important or is it 60%workout and 40% diet or vice versa, my answer is it both 💯workout and 💯diet.
