May had been watching the back of the stranger’s head for a few minutes now, while waiting for coffee. How could the back of someone’s head be familiar? She didn’t know, but his was. It was only when he turned slightly and she caught sight of his profile that she realised. “Dr Strange?” she asked, before thinking. Why would he remember her? She was just going to be a bother. Too late to go back now. “I don’t-, I don’t know if you remember me. May Parker? You worked on my husband last year when he came into the emergency room. Ben Parker, the off-duty cop who was... who was mugged?” she said, before laughing nervously. “I don’t really know why I’m saying hi. I just saw you and-, I guess I never thanked you for trying to save him.”

“In my opinion, a number of these so called ‘Friends’ would be much closer if they’d endured battle with one another. For example, Monica would have much better reason to trust Chandler if he’d attempted to give his life for hers, or even fought on her side.” Sif is frowning, throwing a hand to the television, which in itself, is already shocking enough.
Thor, busy with an Avengers meeting, had suggested Sif go to a certain doctor for a so-called “Midgard crash course”. But it was becoming very clear that Sif had quite a while to go.
“you’re a scientist. i’ve read some of your papers, followed some of your work. and now there’s... magic,” —there’s an inflection in her voice, as if she can’t exactly believe what she’s saying— “or other-dimensional abilities, whatever you want to call it. how do you reconcile the two?”

She moved quicker when she caught sight of him (mostly because she knew others would start giving him looks soon). “What are you doing here?” She asked, eyed roaming over him quickly to ensure he was in one piece. “You’re not about to collapse at my feet are you?”
@kaarmana [x]
“I do, you walk around saying what you do is magic. I’m willing to believe a strange substance has unknown scientific properties which cause mutations and give people powers but magic is fictional.”
