I can totally see kabal as not a hugger while andrius loves to hug him just to see his grumpy face
Andrius does love to hug Kabal, though it's mainly in private when Andrius does so, as he knows that Kabal's not really a fan of being hugged.
Though now Kabal is more accepting of Andrius' hugs, and if anything, has grown fond of Andrius hugging him and finds it odd when Andrius doesn't.
I have a headcanon in my mind that when Kabal first found out about Andrius' death touch ability, that Kabal was really uncomfortable at the thought of Andrius hugging him, as he thought that he wouldn't only feel weird and awkward at being hugged, but that he could die if Andrius were to ever hug or touch him.
Though these thoughts went away once Kabal got to know Andrius better, knowing that Andrius wouldn't do that to someone who he trusted, liked, or he didn't deem a threat, Kabal became more accepting of the English doctor man's touches.
Also, seeing Kabal's grumpy face every time Andrius hugs him always manages to bring a smile to Andrius' face, which will eventually cause Kabal to smile as well, as Andrius' smile is pretty damn contagious lol.
Despite Kabal always wanting to seem tough, he's actually really soft, especially with and around Andrius. Though that doesn't mean that the speedster won't break someone's break if they mess with his British old man.
This goes for Andi as well, as he seems soft, but could easily have someone begging for his mercy in the blink of an eye if he truly wanted. (Though if he gets to the point of Dark! Andrius, it's going to take a lot to bring him back, similar to Raiden. Luckily it takes a lot to get him to that state, so those close to him shouldn't have to worry (Also, the only people to have seen Dark! Andrius and are still living are Fujin and Raiden.)
