Hey what if they Use Setanta as a parallel for Pre-Archer Shirou and show how two boys who witnessed something that forged their identity around being a hero had seemingly gone down wholly different paths but it’s actually one and the same, there is just Cú Chulainn who has pride and Archer who has no pride.
if they don’t that’s just bad writing really because it would go against all of cu’s previous writing but I maintain that we don’t Need a setanta servant for that because they already made those parallels perfectly well with the adult cu and archer. so if that’s all they do with him I’ll be a little disappointed
personally I’m kinda hoping that they lean into how the biggest tragedy of cu chulainn is how young he was, that seems like the most worthwhile reason to be showing cu’s childhood
