Vivienne Bio
An Outworlder from the village of Lei Chen who has always been interested in soul magic and has proved to be a young prodigy in her study of it. Things would take a turn when Lei Chen would be under the control of the Seidan Guard when she was a pre-teen.
Since then, Vivienne’s Outworld-unique type of magic was deemed too “chaotic” for the Seidan Guard’s authorities. She was devastated that she could no longer pursue her passion, so one night, she managed to slip past the Seidan Guard and escape the village. She then found an instructor to take her in and teach her more soul magic.
When Vivienne reached her teens, she had already become a very skilled sorceress and her mentor, who turned out to be a retired Kahn Guard mage, introduced her to General Reiko. Realizing the potential of an ally so knowledgeable in the mystical arts, Reiko offered her a position in the Kahn Guard. Feeling as though she was at an age where she should take care of herself, Vivienne accepted. Under a new mentor who encourages her to test her limits and be the most powerful she can be, Vivienne happily serves as one of Reiko’s most trusted mages and has worked her way to becoming Head Sorceress of the Kahn Guard.

I made took the challenge with Carmilla and Arranad.
Carmilla: I wasn’t that drunk. Arranad: You colored my face with a highlighter because you said I was important. Carmilla: BECAUSE YOU ARE!
Arranad: Are you alright with constructive criticism? I don't want to sound mean. Carmilla: No, go ahead. I want to hear it. Arranad: It sucks. Carmilla: That's not constructive criticism.
Arranad, sweating: Carmilla, there’s something I need to ask you- Carmilla: Finally! You’re proposing! Arranad: How’d you know? Carmilla: Arranad, you’ve dropped the ring five times during dinner. Carmilla: I even picked it up once.
I'll simply tag anyone who happens to see this post!

Thanks, Ada! 💯I'll split this questions in two ships, hope I'll give a good answer 🫡
SORAK AND MINERVA/SORERVA
6- in what ways do they complement and complete each other
They complement each other when it comes to their individual skills, up to a point. Sorak's especializes in the intellectual field, while Minerva does in combat (as a someone trained from youth to be part of the Kahn Guard). It's worth mentioning that I don't take it to the extreme (Sorak is still a warrior and is prepared for war, Minerva is a good strategist and can understand a book if she picks one), but it's still clear what's their main skill, and they enjoy learning from each other when they work together.
They also enjoy teaching the other a thing or two about their respective homes/cultures. Sorak has had insight from the Kahn Guard's inner working thanks to Minerva, and Minerva can fully understand Tarkatan societies thanks to Sorak.
They also extent how they complement each other to the others' people. Sorak has shared some of his knowledge with Kahn Guard soldiers under Minerva's command, while Minerva has helped him train inhabitants of Mireya.
43- how gentle, soft and considerate are they with one another and how do they show up for each other
They are as considerate towards each other as people like them can be.
They have shown how much they cared for each other for thousands of years by fully trusting in one another and allowing the other to show a side of each other they would show to everyone else (something I will to elaborate further in the next point).
It's worth mentioning that the mere fact of openly being together was a considerable act of affection given that they knew how their respective environments would react. Many Tarkatans who are aggressive towards outsiders must have hated the fact that a leader of a prosperous village decided to be with an Outworlder, just as much as the great amount of Kahn Guard soldiers who consider Tarkatans beasts much have hated seeing one of their high ranks with one of them. They were aware of that and it didn't stop them from being together and forming a family.
45- how are they different when they are with each other than when they are with everyone else
One could say that they allow each other to be their true selves when they are together.
Sorak may not notice it, but I want to establish he (and Arranad, for that matter) is trying to overcompensate when he's with other members of the Kahn Guard. He speaks softly, never gets angry even when he's disrespected, tries to show up his knowledge, etc. While part of it is because of his personality, it's also because he wants to prove everyone that he isn't the mindless monster they believe all Tarkatans are.
Minerva also needs to pretend in front of other people up to point. She's been trained to be a ruthless, unforgiving soldier who believes in the superiority of the strong over the weak, that any sign of weakness is intolerable. While she has indeed become a loyal and dangerous Kahn Guard, it's inevitable that a part of her (and of most other member of the Kahn Guard, really) wishes she could be allowed not to prove her strength at every moment, to relax and open herself up to a loved one, if just a bit.
Both get what they deep down want when they are together. They don't have to put the intellectual or strong to extreme persona if they don't feel like it, they know the other won't judge them. They can just be who they are, and enjoy spending time together.
CARMILLA AND ARRANAD/CARRANAD
5 - what visions or hopes do they have for their relationship
They simply expect to advance in their relationship and perhaps form their own family one day, preferably when they have gotten the highest possible rank in the Kahn Guard and can put some of their focus in one another.
10- how vulnerable are they with each other and when are they the most open with e/o
Similar enough to Arranad's mom, since they are Kahn Guard soldiers, there are few people they allow to see their most vulnerable sides, and the other side of the couple is included in that selected group.
Carmilla is one of the few that knows a side of Arranad that's helpful and caring rather than serious and threatening. Similar to both her parents, Arranad is both trying to prove her worth to those around her and to shut the mouths of everyone who tries to mock her Tarkatan heritage (in her case, usually through subtle or not-so-subtle threats). But also like her parents, when she's around someone who she can trust and cares about her, like Carmilla, she's allowed to be her true self, to just enjoy someone's company and openly care about her.
Arranad is also one of the few people who Carmilla is open (at least as much as possible) about her insecurities and doubts, perhaps even more than with Reiko (who she wants to impress as her mentor and big brother figure). The snarky, mocking side she shows to enemy soldiers or other Kahn Guard members is basically gone with Arranad. She can speak with her about how she feels her past still haunts her or how sometimes she fears she won't be strong enough, because she knows Arranad won't judge her and instead will motivate her further (even if it's to be strong enough to kill all their enemies, because still Kahn Guard 😅).
51- what is a boundary in the relationship that they would never cross
With everything I have said in the last point, it's worth mentioning that they wouldn't force the other to be open either. Arranad listens to Carmilla when she needs to express her insecurities, but she won't insist her to do it if she doesn't feel like it.
Carmilla also tries not to intervene in Arranad's business when she confronts other Kahn Guard soldiers or so. She knows Arranad wants to prove herself a capable warrior, and so she lets her do it herself even if she's ready to assist if strictly necessary.
Mom and dad's little soldier girl
Arranad is just the ideal child of her parents. Her mother, Minerva, as the Kahn Guard veteran she is, trained her in physical aspects, preparing her to become a ruthless soldier from childhood. Her father, Sorak, being a pragmatic but also merciless leader of his village and a nerd in the worst possible ways (steals relics from conquered realms because he enjoys discovering about cultures, for example), trained her in intellectual aspects, teaching her to have her way with words and search for knowledge, but with the objective of having more ways of coming on top and step over others. Both taught her to be loyal to the Outworld's Empire ideals, and she ended up not just embracing those ideals as her own, but even surpassing her parents as a soldier of the Empire (has a higher rank and more authority than both of them nowadays).
Also, a bit more on the fighting style thing. Arranad, unlike most Tarkatans, fights using only one of her two arm blades at a time, and performs skillful and elegant movements that most Outworlders wouldn't expect from a Tarkatan (a mistake from their part). She can switch from an arm blade to the other during the fight or use both in key moments when she can take someone by surprise to perform more damage.
It would be her weapon fighting style if she were a playable character in the 3D Era (the name would just be Arm Blade), and it's based on Count Dooku from Star Wars (with all the differences that using an arm blade instead of a lightsaber implies of course).

Last line tag
Summary: Second of the three WIPs I wrote exploring the mentor-student (and sibling-like) relationship that Reiko and my OC Carmilla have in my AU. It shows the very first lesson Reiko gave her and how she became his direct student.

(It says last line, but I'll cheat a liiitle bit and share anything necessary to understand the last scene lol)
“Indeed.” said Reiko. He then told some of his soldiers to take the TaiGore to be cooked while he still spoke with Carmilla. “I don’t want you to think this will be easy, however, quite the contrary, I expect even more from you now. We will start your first session as soon as possible.”
“I will be ready…” said Carmilla, before feeling one of her wings being punched by him all of the sudden. “Ouch!”
Reiko smirked. What? He had said as soon as possible. “Hmm, you need to be a bit more alert. We don’t know anything could attack us, do we?” he giggled a little bit. “Disappointing first session.”
Carmilla sighed annoyed while holding her wing. “Maybe…” she rolled her eyes. “I promise I will do better next time.”
“I am confident you will.” said Reiko, becoming serious again while looking at Carmilla.
Reiko saw in her the learner full of potential he had been once in his younger years. He was glad she had just taken an important step in becoming the great soldier she could be. She just needed to take some more steps.
