One of my favorite things about the ninjago fandom will always be the fact that despite the creator's attempts to tell us Cole & Kai have no canon last name, we all agree on the same names for them

19. People they’ve hurt or indirectly killed, and how it affected them

KaiFor a long period of his life, he was putting himself above Nya, without realising it He excluded her from “boy stuff” and all that, until Nya called him out on it. From that day forward, Kai learned that his sister is just as badass as him :D

NyaOkay but like, in season 5, when she unlocked her true potential, she literally killed the entirety of the Cursed Realm including Garmadon? The realisation hit her way later, and she literally started crying, because Lloyd had been thinking about Garmadon a lot the day she realised.

Aaaand she also can’t stand the fact that the season 3 love triangle happened. She looks back at herself and wants the earth to swallow her whenever she does. She has apologised to both Jay and Cole, and thankfully, they are on perfectly good terms again.

ColeHe finds himself thinking about the season 3 triangle quite often. Although he doesn’t blame himself for everything, he can’t believe he acted so immaturely around his family, especially to Jay, who needed him at this hard time.

(Cole is just very sensitive to whatever has to do with hurting his family.)

JayJay knows he is adopted, but he doesn’t know how lightning mom died. She died while giving birth to Jay, and it’s a good thing Jay doesn’t know that, because he would blame himself. Similarly to Cole and Nya, he also thinks back to the love triangle thing and gets upset.

ZaneI think I’ve mentioned this before, but although it really wasn’t his fault, Zane feels so bad about leaving his friends after he died in season 3. He killed the Overlord, and he is very happy everything is at peace again, but just thinking about how hurt his family was makes him sick in the stomach.

Lloyd (season 8 spoilers!)According to Harumi, Lloyd (and the rest of the ninja) is the reason her parents died, and she turned into what she is now. When she told Lloyd that, it forever got pierced in his heart. He can’t take the fact that he has killed people, or destroyed their lives, and Harumi is a living example of that. He feels like he has “ruined” a human being, and he hates the thought of it.

His most regretted descision, however, was locking his teammates into the bounty and leaving to fight Garmadon on his own. He ended up losing his powers, and his family. He blames himself for their “death”, and it’s something he will never forget.

On the left, 2017 redraw. On the right, the 2012 original. Still can’t draw Sensei Wu, still have trouble with anatomy (especially arms and feet!) but man oh man does it feel good to see where I’ve improved! 

The only two characters in this picture I own are Claire (curly ginger) and Damien (guy in gloves next to her). 

Guy in blue in the bottom corner (I think his name was Andrew?) and Amy (blonde in purple next to Cole) belong to @the-party-train

Dusk, Joey, and Dawn (guy in the trenchcoat behind Kai, the shadow blob on his hand, and the girl in the corner, respectively) all belong to @garnettfox

The two little girls on the bottom are Mallory and Freya, I’m not so sure if their creator has a tumblr or not, or if they even remember us. If you recognize them, or know who made them, feel free to let me know so I can credit you. 

All other characters (Kai, Jay, Cole, Zane, Nya, Sensei Wu, and Lloyd) all belong to LEGO.
