Does Val have the same owner as Cory?
Why yes!!! Kaida owns them both.
While Cory is the one bonded with Kaida, Val is more concerned with being in a pack (so the grump can be fed and sleep all day where someone isn’t bothering him). He enjoys their presence, and is perfectly happy being an animal/partner instead of a soulmate. And quite frankly, he really is happy to be in the wiggle with cory :)

I wrote a fic. I’ve had people ask me before for one of Kaida, and while i’m working on some other fandoms (cough cough thunderbolts) I figured I would learn how it worked with my own character.

There are some consequences to taking a yokai out of their element and mutating them. You take away vital things they should learn growing up. :)
