Kaidan wouldn’t really do loud, dramatic jealousy—the kind where he causes a scene or starts a big fight that takes like five people to break it up. It’s the type of jealousy that is controlled, quiet, slightly possessive, and a little tense.
He’s very observant; he notices things right away—things other people might miss. Someone standing too close to you, a hand touching yours for too long, a conversation that feels a little too familiar, or long stares. He only watches for a moment, then finally decides what to do.
Most of the time, he chooses not to react openly, but the jealousy seeps out of his body.
He would get closer to you instinctively, but it’s not in a big or obvious way—just enough that he’s nearby. Slowly ending up at your side or slightly in front of you.
If someone keeps trying to take your attention away, he would shift himself to be between you and the other person—not exactly blocking, but enough that he’s hard to ignore.
His voice would change too—not cold or harsh, but tense and careful, like he’s trying his hardest to think before he speaks, making sure he stays under control.
There’s also a more possessive side that slips out in small ways. His big, warm hand would settle on your waist—not a tight grip, but firm. He stands really close to you, to the point where you can’t move without feeling every inch of him against you. He keeps you in front of him and in his line of sight. He doesn’t draw attention to it; he just does it like it’s natural.
A big part of it is control. He would try to not overreact, to not look possessive, to not cross any type of line, but it would still end up showing up, at least, in small ways.
And if someone were to flirt with you, he wouldn’t yell at you or at the other person. He would simply go a bit still and watch for a while. Then he would immediately come to you and get close like it’s nothing, like he just happened to show up out of nowhere. But it’s clear from the firm grip around you and the way his sharp red eyes stare down at the other person that he’s not leaving space for anything else.
He won’t bring it up or say anything at all. He isn’t the type to confess his jealousy, but he would stay closer to you even more than before, to make sure that doesn’t happen again.
