sketches of ayisha! i've been thinking more about the origins of her cosmic abilities, which i entail in the thread below! i wasn't originally going to color these, but i just couldn't do her justice without her regal color!
here is the lore related to these sketches! ayisha's lore is inspired by my own spiritual journey, hence her cosmic nature and themes.
Ayisha bears a powerful connection to cosmic energy. However, this is not due to a given ability nor was she granted this connection through magic. After being turned to a Shauldonon, in search of inner peace and a means of quelling the urge for violence within, she spent many years condemned to the underground of Aephimar meditating. Although she did already sustain magical energy, this only furthered her metaphysical ascension into the cosmos. Through years of silence, tranquility, and concentration, she meditated until the cosmos itself had reached into her; the truth was revealed to her. However, it was up to Ayisha alone to acknowledge her enlightenment and apply its teachings to her new life as a Shauldonon. While Ayisha does carry the power of stars, she does not abuse this power, and instead learns from it. There is still so much about herself and her world that she has yet to learn, but now with her third eye (quite literally) open and a determination to be intentional with her life, she embarks on the ultimate journey of recuperation.
