I just finished watching Anne with an E, and I just can't stop processing how beautiful it is

Watching Anne with an e season 3

I don’t normally cry watching historical fiction but the residential school episode is difficult to watch knowing that bodies of children were found in Canada( where the show takes place)

So after those new characters and settings were introduced we’re obviously getting a fourth season.

But not ready to rewatch Ka’kwet’s storyline.

Ok but like Gilbert learned about honey cleansing wounds after mary died. Think of how USEFUL that could've been!

Can I just say how glad I am that Moira and the writers had Ka’kwet escape on her own using nothing but her wits and willpower and didn’t have Anne and Matthew coming in riding on horseback to rescue her and save the day?

Because when we first saw Ka’kwet in the residential school I was really worried it’d end up being the latter, and we really don’t need any more perpetuation of your classic white savior complex.

But I should’ve known not to doubt Anne With an E :)
