YOU ARE STEADFAST IN CHECKING IN, whatever monotony he might dread because of it, you care none. Stay until you feel better, and you meant that. You’re not sure if he knows you meant that, but you’re making sure he does. He certainly looks worse for wear even still. A bit perplexing. Or it is to you, at least. It is not wholly his health, but his demeanor, so you think. He can feel better, but you don’t think he will be better.
That is, of course, the only conclusion you can draw. It is only thanks to your own experiences that you can.
“ You still look down. Didn’t like what Lauca caught to eat? ” You try not to look at him too quizzically, try not to look like you’re prying, but you can’t help but wonder if you’re partially to blame here.
You’ve worked hard to adhere to his likes, take notes of the stuff he only picks at, ask him if he’d prefer something else. Usually a good meal does the trick, for Heath at least it seems to, but Yumil is a bit different. You’re not sure if it’s a good different. More frustrating. You want to get it right, but it’s hard. You want to see him look better. He’s more talkative, sure, but not better.
You’re not quite sure what to do.
