Black Tie Throwdown

It's a beautiful summer morning and a new pet has been adopted, but I feel a storm coming on.

It's going to be a formal affair this go round. Just look at some of that randomly generated formal wear!

Alright! Everyone seems to be having a good time...well...ALMOST everyone! Facepalm...

Aww...And Brandee was late because she adopted a cute little kitty!

Aaaand then she was zombified...along with several other sims! Looks like Anton won't get to flirt tonight, if he's even actually interested in her!

Sorry Anton, you should've stayed at the party longer...looks like you've missed your chance!

Marco and Nicholas are winding down the party taking advantage of last call before the lounge closes for the night.

This is a good way to kick off the playthrough!

Long Time Coming

Woot woot! We're finally on to the beautiful world of Northeney by the ever talented @nornities! This gameplay has been completed for literally close to a year! That's how behind I've gotten with filling my queue due to...you know...real life! Anyway, as I sit with a new little furry and purry friend at my feet (a bday present for my kiddo) I am finally ready to load up a few days of gameplay!

We start with my a screenshot while I was creating households. I HATED randomizing this already awesome looking dude, but I already had all my slider numbers rolled so, Milton, you may have wound up looking a little less like Sir Elton John, but you're still a pretty awesome looking Sim! You'll see him in a bit :)

I spent most of the first day as I usually do, placing my newly created households so my simmies just got right to their lives while the hours ticked by! Here we have Anton Clary and Nicholas York, two of our first sims to follow.

Namesake, Marco Bauman spent the day brooding around town.

The WHOLE day! Facepalm!

Meanwhile, we've already got households splitting up and rivalries forming!

I finished up my first official day in Northeney with an AWESOME lightening storm and this weird notification...I started with a fresh population, who got run out of town?? I better go check that it wasn't any of my sims!

Love Done Right

After last night the guys definitely don't have the funds to throw a city-wide party and honestly, this population has already begun to form friend groups and romances on their own so for Love Day they just invited their significant others out for a double date. Aaaand of course Derick opted to show up in robot mode...LOL!

Oooh, it looks like Kari and Milton are having a good Love Day as well!

Nothing like a little performance to liven things up! Hmm...I'm surprised to see Maurice (open shirt and all) here alone! It is Love Day, I wonder where Renee is? I sure hope this doesn't mean they're going to fizzle out soon.

Derick and Sherita stayed late into the night, but Micah finished up his song on the keyboard and then invited Felisha home for something a little more intimate.

No, not that! Just some truly adorable and romantic cuddle time in front of the fireplace. Seriously so sweet!

Even Smokey got some snuggles!

I should hope so!

It was pretty hard to top that! So after Felisha left it was off to bed! Umm...that fireplace should be fine right?? I mean if nothing else, Derick will put it out when he gets home...surely...

Get to Work

Tim was up first on the last day to feed little Elwood and get a good workout in before work!

Pamela was brooding again, but we've got no time for that! It's the last day of winter and Pam is in the political career so you know what that means!

Just as soon as I kick Tim out of the City offices...facepalm...I thought I locked that door!

That's more like it! I didn't collect taxes in Pleasant Isle because it's the sister city to Quackenbush and with only five households in each of those playthroughs I'd passed Tax Day in Quackenbush already when I instated my taxation system. Buuut...Northeny like the rest of my playthroughs is not exempt and next rotation, I'll be collecting taxes in each world!

Oh boy...Bryon is continuing to cycle through the unattached sims...word of advice Bryon...take care with other sim's hearts!

As night fell, Pamela was invited to Kari's for a party! In true sim fashion that meant she was the only guest!

Oh dear...LOL! Kari! Did you invite us here just to scare poor Pamela!

Well at least Pamela seemed to enjoy herself, but lookout! It's the full moon! Perhaps that is why no one else ventured to the edge of the world for Kari's party!

Brandee is out on the town too! Girls! Get home before you get attacked by zombies!

Snowy Retreat

It's Snowflake Day and you know what that means!

Time for bonuses! Way to go everyone!

Uh oh...looks like the partner swapping has begun! Gosh I'm still having whiplash from Pleasant Isle, I so it doesn't get that crazy here!

My sims were still asleep so I just perused around town while I went through notifications.

I may have gotten a little too wrapped up in the scenery though because evening was fast approaching and I realized I hadn't taken screenshots of my sims all day! That's okay though, because the real excitement starts at night with the planned Snowflake Day party anyway!

Hmm...while I searched out the perfect place to party, Tim got invited to a feast party at the Poindexter home. I hopped into map view and discovered there were several house parties going on. Wow! These sims have already formed their own close knit friend groups! I didn't want to break that up so...no city wide Snowflake Day party this year.

Instead I had both Pamela and Brandee work on skills and clean house while Tim did whatever he did at the party.

Oh! Play the bass I see!

Ahh...Jolene and Tanisha...the beauty of using randomization in CAS! LOL!

Back home and little Elwood is seeking out a place to snuggle up. So the day was a lot quieter than I'd intended, but it was a good first Snowflake Day anyway!
