@karolinamean (a.k.a. @rebelbaze a.k.a. @jennyslateswife a.k.a. the plague of ace discourse who has several sideblogs to use to circumvent the block policy when someone finally gets sick of their shit and blocks them. I may be new, but I’m not fucking blind; This is your M.O.)
They were “added in” in terms of the acronym, actually. It was just LG until the mid-80′s when they finally added the ‘B’. The ‘T’ was added in roughly the same time period, but they didn’t gain full “respect”, for lack of a better term, until much later.
“You aren’t right on any meaningful front”
Just on the historical one, which clearly means nothing to the exclusionists who continue to insist that it has been LGBT+ since the dawn of time.
Show me where I included cishets. Really, I’d love to see where I said anything about including cishets. Also, I never said that bi and trans people were not involved; What I said is that they weren’t always part of the acronym, nor were they recognized as an equal part of the community - but A+ on trying to paint me as some kind of a bigot.
I would LOVE to see sources on that as well, considering that bi people and trans people still struggle daily to be recognized as an equal part of the community. The whole “DROP THE T!” bullshit is alive and well, there was an active push to remove bi people from the community within the last 5 years, so no, we’re not just accepted by every LGBT+ person.
It’s common fucking knowledge that the ‘B’ and ‘T’ were added in the late 80′s, but I know that no matter what resource or source I provide, it won’t be enough for you to take it seriously. Google it, I’m sure you’ll find something to your liking (or not, but that’s not really my problem. If you want to purposely stick your head in the sand and pretend like the LGBT+ community has always been a happy family for bi and trans people, that’s your business)
