“In his mind’s eye, Jude pictured the man’s arm regrowing,  pushing itself from the hole in his shoulder and building itself up piece by piece until it matched the other one.

A searing pain in his right shoulder broke Jude’s concentration. He cried out and clutched at the offending appendage. Jude pulled his hand away to assess the damage and retched at the sight. A jagged cut had worked its way around Jude's shoulder. A line of red stared back at him, traced around the circumference of his arm. Frayed pieces of skin hung off around the opening and Jude spied something white amidst the sea of deep red.

He looked up at Kasaika. His brother only motioned for him to continue. Jude gulped and reached out for the stump again, shuddering as his hands made contact. He took a few deep breaths and tried not to cry. Jude tried to focus on healing the man's arm, but images of his own flayed skin crept up and took hold of his mind.

Jude gasped and reeled back. The stench of blood and decaying flesh slammed into him full force as he pulled away from the man. A hand gripped his injured shoulder and Jude stifled a scream.

‘Why did you stop?’ Kasaika demanded.

‘I'm sorry. I'm trying,’ Jude said. ‘I just don't think I can do this.’

‘You can. You just need to try harder!’ Kasaika insisted.

 His hands closed like a vice around Jude's own. Kasaika tugged him forward and forced Jude's hands back into position on Kasaika's favorite soldier.

‘Do it!’ he commanded.”

“’You- you want me to grow his arm back?’ Jude asked incredulously.

Kasaika smiled. Several of the lines in his face smoothed out, drawing Jude’s attention to the ugly scar that lined the right side of his face. It stretched from the top of his eyebrow all the way down to the base of his chin, a thin pale line stark against his browned skin.

‘Now you’re getting it. I knew you’d understand.’

Jude took a step back. He reached for his rock again.

‘I-I can’t do that,’ he stammered once he’d found his voice, eyes locked on to where the man was pouring blood all over his floor.

Kasaika’s one-eyed gaze grew stormy.

‘You can, and you will.’ he pointed to the person on the ground, who had stopped writhing about. The giant simply lay clutching the place where his arm used to be and occasionally moaning in pain.

‘That is my best soldier, and I will not have my army crippled by a meaningless raid. Heal him. Now.’”

I know for certain I’ve never done this for Kasaika, so here we go!

1. What is your full name?

It’s just Kasaika.

2. What does your name mean?

Excellent question. I won’t be answering it.

3. What are your nicknames/other names?

Don’t have any.

(Author’s note: Kasaika is known as the King of Thieves in certain parts of Egypt)

4. What’s your gender?

Bored.

5. What’s your sexuality?

I like women.

6. Where are you from?

The interviewee glared at me in a very threatening manner after I asked this question. I decided it was best not to pursue an answer.

7. How old are you?

After sitting through this interview? Incomprehensibly ancient.

(Author’s note: Kasaika is somewhere between 18 and 21. He doesn’t know for sure because he didn’t care enough to keep count)

8. What is your magic form/what designation are you?

I don’t do magic, fuckwit. That’s my dear brother’s area of expertise.

I have a more... practical talent.

9. What does your human form look like?

You’re looking at it. Since you can’t seem to use your own bodily organs for the most basic of functions, I guess I’ll just have to describe myself.

I have brown hair. Wow, so original. My skin is also brown. Shocker. Bet you’ve never seen that on an Egyptian. I have only one eye, and guess what color it is?

It’s fucking brown. 

I’m taking your whole coin purse as idiot tax.

10. What’s your aesthetic?

I like knives and gold. I won’t say no to the occasional splotch of blood, either.

11. Who’s your best friend?

My best what now?

12. Would you ever get a piercing/tattoo?

Sure. You’re paying.

Wait, wha-

*you hear the sound of something large and metal crashing to the ground, followed by about five hours of silence*

*You hear quiet footsteps, followed by a metallic scraping sound. Someone settles into a chair.*

I would get a very large and elaborate tattoo of a scorpion on my shoulder, as it turns out.

13. When are you happiest?

When I’m alone and no one can bother me by asking me stupid questions. 

You are on a very special list of people, populated only by yourself and my idiot brother, by the way.

14. What’s your biggest secret?

Who told you I have a secret?

15. Do you have a sidekick?

I have someone by my side to kick. He’s incredibly untrustworthy and almost certainly planning to reveal some interesting information about me to opposing parties. It’s been a joy stringing him along, but I’m afraid our little chat has to come to an end now.

*you hear what sounds like the unsheathing of a weapon, followed by a man gasping for air in a brief but desperate manner. The audio cuts out*

How Cuddleable are your OCs?

I was tagged by the marvelous @angelolytle I-I love this tag game?? Thank you!!

Jude: 6/10. Very willing to cuddle, but only for a short time. Smol. Soft hair. Points deducted for twig limbs which are Not Soft.

Kul: 7/10. Hates cuddles, unless they are with specific people. Very tall. A good big spoon. Points deducted for lankyness. Too pointy.

Hathor: 11/10. Very affectionate person. Toll af. Chub, very soft. Gives best hugs. She cured my anxiety for an entire hour. No complaints.

Akela: 3/10 Angery girl. Does not have time for cuddles. Will fight you if you move wrong.

No, seriously.

If you move too fast, you better pray to the gods that your reflexes are better than hers. They aren't. Praying was a waste of time. You're dead now.

Kasaika: -2/10. Come on guys, it's Kasaika. What do you want me to do, give him a positive number?

I’ll be using the dice for this one.

A1: What are your OC’s natural abilities, things they’ve been doing since they were young?

And the dice say... Harua!

Harua is an avid gardener. He’s been planting and arranging and digging around in the dirt since he was little. 

Of course, it doesn’t hurt to have the ability to accelerate plant growth whenever you please.

C2: In what position do they sleep?

Ooh, that’s a good one. Alright, who do we have? We have Tabu apparently!

Like most people on Punt, Tabu sleeps in a hammock. Usually, he’s in a diagonal position, one arm and one leg dangling off the sides, and his face is just smushed into the side of the hammock.

A majestic being, Tabu is.

L5: What is their favorite food?

We got Hathor!

Hathor loves fruit. All kinds of fruit. But her absolute favorite is grapes. Coconuts are also good.

Y1: How old were you when you created them?

I’ll just do this for everyone.

So I came up with Jude and Kasaika when I was about... hummm... thirteen or fourteen, I think? About two months after them, I decided Jude needed some friends and along came Kul and Hathor (though Hathor wasn’t called Hathor, she had a different name. And personality. And physical appearance. Okay, so I came up with Hathor when I was eighteen)

Akela, Braheem, Harua and Tabu (whose name used to be ‘Kau’, until I changed it because it was too close to ‘Kul’.) all came about when I was closer to fifteen. Isis and Apep I created when I was eighteen.

And I think that’s everyone. :)
