I’m from western Europe, so I’ve never even seen a desert. Uh, yes, Olive would be a great vampire, I mean, she’s already got the whole aesthetic... Slowly but surely, Strangetown turns into a wild card. Maybe make it a supernatural sanctuary, @sajlica?

We have our own version, which airs in January (aka right now). Casting highlights include a guy who was the boyfriend of a Germany’s Next Top Model contestant (and broke up with her on air or sth?) and a woman with severe phobias who somehow decided that being a contestant in a show filmed in a jungle was a good idea. The commentary is pretty good, though. Most people only watch it for that, the contestants seem to get more boring every year (don’t follow it very closely).

That’s the one picture of them I took that wasn’t them fighting. They do not get along at all.

XD. Ever watched it (it’s probably on Youtube)? When my grandparents were still alive, my grandfather often imitated James. He was nearly blind, so a few times it was not quite voluntary. ^^
Me debating whether to start a BACC:
katatty-main said: im always attempting to start baccs, too! i never even finish building the starter houses, haha

I feel you. BACCs are hard, especially since I have the attention span of a goldfish, zero patience and have difficulties connecting with self-made Sims... Gets even worse because I had to read so many Victorian novels for college that I kind of want to play a Victorian/ old timey BACC... Yeah, that ain’t happening...
Non-Sims text post about I’m a celebrity - get me out of here:

Good to know! My parents watch it religiously and since it started yesterday, it’s dominating the news. Wondered if this was just something German people inexplicitly love.
Someone was concerned about my WTF post, but I’ve since deleted it. I actually answered it via reply, but I’m not sure if it reached you. Nothing bad happened, just watched the new Sherlock episode (I’m studying English, that’s kinda mandatory XD) and felt the need to express myself.

PC struggles
wearyvagabond said: Nvidia GTX 1060 works great with Sims 2 after minimal fiddling; I’d definitely recommend upgrading
itsyedude said: It’s best to get the 10 series over the 7 series since it’ll be supported longer. So definitely go for a GTX 1050 Ti. A GTX 1060 GTX will pretty much run almost anything without issue.
Thank you for your suggestions. I will look into it.
Middleground’s birthday
katatty-main said: oooh, exciting!! :D
I don’t think I’ve ever played a neighbourhood for that long. Except for that one I played like ten years ago, but I just kept on adding Sims to it (and didn’t play on a rotational basis), so I’m not sure it counts.
Term papers and Trumps
sushigal007 said: Good luck! And on the bright side, you’ve got a whole lot of material to work with!
God, I wish. Unfortunately, our history department is like really old-fashioned and strongly advises us to only use published sources (books and academic articles, basically). They only allowed us to use online sources this year, and highly limit what we can and cannot use. Otherwise, I would probably just print out every tweet Trump’s ever made regarding his politic on Russia and hand that in... so maybe it’s a good idea to impose those restrictions?
German book titles
simspressionism said: German titles are so weird most of the time
SO MANY FORCED PUNS! Stuff that’s only half translated. Fantasy books that are named after their protagonists. I would like to meet the marketing teams that come up with those titles...

Ah, yeah, I guess that’s it. Although I could have sworn that I had empty dorm rooms before...

How cute! That girl also informed me that I was her mom now. Even have a little goodbye letter signed with “Best of luck to you, Mom Miss S.” Kind of cute, kind of concerning. I loved it there.
