Preparing for another lesson in our collaborative Kauai Regeneration Food Forest .... all I can think of is @rob_cruz awesome plate of food. What I’m always 😋 hungry. Isn’t that what it’s all about this season in preservation and conservation for the big luau paina Makahiki Challenge!#lonoikamakahiki !! Providing abundance, education, for life’s sustainability lessons of food. Paul helped me build a 40 taro compilation research which I was able to prove is possible in 2012, and we will see that coming in the next year as each project simultaneously expands. His Regenerations Seed (and Cuttings) Project @ribg_kauai helped farmers island wide grow their own nursery, now we need to maintain this Forest of Food in Kilauea above Kalihiwai. While we prepare for another soil remediation for foresting on #thewestkauaifarms in Waiawa , Munehune , and Mana aina , we gather on Thursday 8-4pm and Saturdays 8-4pm, with 1 Pm walk through to learn what’s needed to be done to nurture and understand our food plants.
