For the fic meme: Based on the most recent couple of chapters of Not Even Miracles (and Courfeyrac's discussion of Enjolras with Combeferre), I can totally see you writing Enjolras and Courfeyrac getting into their first argument, and Courfeyrac swears he's SO MAD but can he REALLY stay angry? More at 11.

Ooh, yes, I really love conflict between Enjolras and Courfeyrac! They’re so much the two charismatic centers of the group, one at the head of the group’s political life, and the other the center of its social life. I’m fascinated by how similar and different they are.
It feels like however old he was, whatever the circumstances, Enjolras would be waging the same fight with the same fervor, so long as ignorance and poverty remain on earth... etcetera.
But Courfeyrac is more complicated--there seem to be so many more countervailing forces in his life. At the age we meet him at, he’s hardly less fiery than Enjolras (and, in a literal, charter-burning sense, MORE fiery!) But we’re told, by text that seems strangely weighted against him, that he was a dime a dozen, a Tholomyes model II--though, granted, an improvement--that he was just going to grow out of it if he lived long enough. It’s really hard for me to see that in him, or to know entirely what it means?
But I love the idea of picking at the ways those conflicting forces in Courfeyrac might complicate their relationship in the early days, and the ways that through their conflict, he gradually takes on the influence of Enjolras’s seriousness and fervor--and the ways Enjolras becomes better because of his pushback, because Enjolras is always made better by his friends.
So yes, I think I’d write that. :D
(And sorry, I know this meme was weeks ago--I discovered pretty immediately after posting that meme that I was having a really remarkably bad day and wasn’t up for tumblr. But I appreciated it very much, thank you.<3)
