this is not how i wanted to find out about the origin of kebab pizza :(

idk what youre finding out but this is how kebab pizza was created:

italian immigrants come to sweden, start pizzerias.

middle eastern immigrants arrive later, get jobs at pizzerias.

they add kebab to the pizza

swedes fucking love kebab pizza

it becomes be most sold pizza or top 3 every year

swedes joke or are serious when they say kebabpizza should become a recognized "national food"

as a comfort i can say that i personally, only eat normal pizza. that is, i only eat pizza with cheese, tomato sauce, and ham as a topping.

BUT,

sweden in general. well we.... you see, pizza was like the 1 fast food that got introduced in sweden during the 20th century. and we took to it, like someone, who has not seen a new fancy dish centuries (we had seen other new dishes before yes, but THE FEELING was like. we just discovered non-swedish food for the first time ever haha).

yes, apperntly we could not resist combining the nr 1 fave swedish food of 20th century sweden, a steak with fatty sauce that is, with pizza. we just.... it was destiny! such a iconic couple!

you know sometimes you can decide which horrific wonderful swedish pizza invention you want to eat. then! you just seperate squares on your pizza. here we see banana pizza, steak with bernaise sauce, ham pizza, mushroom pizza and seafood pizza ALL IN ONE.

personally, i stay with my ham topping pizza. i am pleased with this. but sweden.... in general love this. we have just gotten started!
