I’ve been told to keep a record of our findings and our status in journal entries while we were here. I don’t know why I have to write it when Kedience is the one with the better penmanship, but I guess she has “better” things to do. The city is as lively as expected and the people here seem to be living their lives normally. The professors say that the people here won’t be affected by the experiments, but I’m still a bit skeptical about it. Tomorrow we will go around, take in the sights, get a few drinks and try to enjoy ourselves a bit. But for now there’s not much to say. Let’s see if we can’t save the world.

The professors tested their new weapon in the testing facility. The weapon created a sonic boom like blast that reached a distance of about 20 meters. Although it’s not lethal at the moment, modifications are being made to increase the impact of the blast. Weapons like this are supposed to help us win any future wars against anyone who declares it, but it seems a bit over the top. I was told by Kedience that more weapons are being made similarly to this one. Whatever new power source they found seems to be working well for them. Next week we’ll be able to see the source and try our own experiments. From what they seem to say about it, it looks like sky’s the limit for what we can do.
