Ladies, gentlemen, children of all ages, the Mun is here to say a few words: the next couple of days/ weeks are going to be a huge adjustment period for me. Shits going down, and I don't want to complain so I won't, but my attention may be elsewhere. Please don't think I'm ignoring you. I'm simply getting resituated. I will let you know when things calm down. If I forget your reply, send me a message, I want to know I missed you. Thanks for being patient and DFTBA! I owe: Timeywimeyten Nobodylikestheotherguy Keeperofliars Thepiemakerstouch? I talked about threading with talk-to-tennant and I responded, but I'll shoot you a message ASAP.

What texture of food do you prefer? Favorite tastes?
I am actually a really picky eater when it comes to texture. I prefer food smooth than to eat something too crunchy, but I will eat chips and things like that. I hate vegetables, mostly because of the textures. I also think I taste something that is in all green leafy substances, but its not chlorophyll because it goes away when you cook them until they are mushy... I don't think that makes sense, but it does to me. I like sweet over spicy any day of the week. ^_^
So, part of me being a music snob means I travel to see bands I really like. What is something you are so passionate about that you would travel to see? How far would you be willing to go away from home?
I've been to Germany, Switzerland, and Italy before, and that was because it was offered to me. I like the destinations, but some times the travel makes me sick, so I don't like leaving home if I can help it. I've traveled for work, but I do that because there are really cool seminars in places all over the States, and those are really cool. I like learning, so any time I can learn about something that interests me I will pursue it.
Who watches The Watchmen?
Um..... The people? I know where this line is from, but I'm not really in that fandom, and that movie was like an acid trip for me?
Which fictional character do you most strongly identify with? Not one that you admire or love or wish you could be, but when you saw this character, you thought to yourself “Oh man, that’s me.” Why did you think that?
Would you believe Ned? I actually was watching this going, Oh my god he's obsessing over the same things I would in this situation. he thinks the worst is going to happen, when its not, and he feels this sense of righteousness in the world that is not always there. True I don't bake pies and I don't have as tragic a back story as Ned does, but I still look at the down side to things, and I have a hard time disrupting my routine for anything.
Did you see that ludicrous display last night? Do you support any sportsball teams?
OMG this is so cute XD No I actually like more individualized sports over team sports. If I were to watch anything team It would be Olympic two person volleyball, because those women are amazing.
Have any unpopular opinions?
I am not a fan of Thorki. I used to be a fan of Frostiron, but have since disregarded the subject. I consider myself a republican, although I hold an utter disgust for most of the people representing my party. I don't think Loki is some poor baby who was under the control of the tesseract when he attacked Earth. Nor that he was afraid of Thanos for any reason. Loki did what he did for his own selfish reasons, and I am surprised it hasn't really bitten him in the ass yet.
What is the earliest memory that you can recall?
Crying in my bedroom down the hall from my parents, so loud that my dad came running and stubbed his toes on a set of Lincoln logs I had left out in a pile on the floor in the hall.
Favorite painting?
Hmmmm...... I'm not a big fan of art but I do like Icarus Falls.
What’s your favorite guilty pleasure food? You know you shouldn’t eat it, but you do, and life’s just so wonderful.
Okay, so the problem with your question is that everything I shouldn't eat makes me sick, so I eat it and as it is going down it is glorious, and then about twenty minutes later I feel like all my decisions in life are horrible and I should not be trusted as a proper adult. But to answer the question Chocolate chip cookie dough Ice cream, or chocolate in general.
What argument/concept (however it may have been presented: book, film, thread post, etc.) has strongly challenged your world-view? How?
This Amazing book called Ishmael. it is about a telepathic gorilla, who is trying to teach a human about the huge lie that will topple the Earth if Humans don't wake up and stop themselves. It exemplifies why we are a part of the universe, and how we have created Religion and Myth to convince ourselves that we are above the Earth instead of one with it. It has changed my view on Religion, so that i think of it not as a doctrine, but a story that should guide us in how not to be instead of how we should act. it is a beautiful work and I recommend it to everyone. I don't think it destroys religion, just offers a little different view of things.
Ten was a heavy question so let’s end this on a lighter note: favorite sweet/candy?
Um.... Starbusts or Rolo's or Snickers. ^_^
So now comes the part where I create questions. 11. okay, here we go.
1) What is the most vivid dream that you remember upon waking?
2) What are three objects you don't go a day without using?
3) Equate your five closest friends to your favorite television or Anime characters. (You don't have to use their real names)
4) Do you prefer silence while studying or noise and distractions?
5) Marvel or DC and why?
6) The song that best exemplifies your life.
7) Three things you wish you could learn how to do, and why you haven't learned them yet.
8) Your biggest personal accomplishment, and why it is so important to you.
9) Describe your favorite picture without posting it. Bonus points if you are in it, and you describe yourself positively.
10) Quote the book to your immediate right. (if there isn't a book there, the one to the farthest right on the second shelf of your book collection.)
11) Your top five favorite ice cream flavors in order of "if you buy me I will love you long time."
Guys, I promise I will get to replies. I have some ideas already ruminating, but school..... And life..... And..... Ugh!!! Trust me I know right now who I owe. I will get to you all.
I have absolutely no system to replying, besides going through my activity and finding threads and then responding to them. This is a poor system because I get confused on where I'm at on the page and what I've done and haven't done. I also read replies on my phone some times before I get to the computer.
This means that sometimes I don't respond for weeks thinking that I did write a response and you missed it and don't want to talk to me, and I feel horrible about bothering people so I just leave it alone until I go through my threads links one day and realize I MISSED THE REPLY!!!
So if I haven't said anything in a while, private message me a link to our thread and say that it's my turn. Unless I specifically tell you I want to stop, it is always that I missed the reply and don't remember that I missed it.
Please don't be afraid to come and tell me if I'm ignoring you. I don't mean it at all.
I am sorry to everyone I role play with, but it's finals week, and stress, and life, so replies will be a little slow if not nonexistent. Please excuse the mun while she extends puff levels to max.
"Don't contradict me tonight, Loki." Asha mumbled, chuckling sadly as she heard him sigh, the same sigh he gave so many times when he had to hold his tongue. "He is all you are going to have when I am gone, I know your life span, I have sixty to sixty five years left if I am lucky, you have hundreds? Maybe a thousand years..." She swallowed hard, her voice shaking as she tried to control her tears. "I need to trust that /someone/ will look out for you... Help keep the darkness at bay."
Loki chuckled at that. Keeping the darkness at bay? Perhaps, in a way she could be doing that for him. However, Thor often couldn't; the other Asgardian could not understand the darkness that plagued Loki enough to help him. No, if anything Loki would go on with the help of everyone else: the son of Coul, Antony Stark, Director Fury. he had at least come to some agreement with them, he understood them better than he had. Perhaps it was her doing, because she forced him to look at the humans as more than mindless cattle for slaughter.
"You will grow older than you believe, my dove. I will defend you from death for as long as I possibly can." He promised.
Asha nodded, tugging on Loki's pant leg to get him to sit next to her so that she could snuggle close, the test held tightly in her hand. "So Heimdall could be the most powerful god in Asgard but because he doesn't say anything, everyone thinks it's Odin who is most powerful?" She asked, chewing on her lower lip to the point where it was turning white. "Because he doesn't leave his post?"
"I really don't know, my dove." He admitted, sliding down next to her. He wasn't sure why they had to sit in the bathroom to wait for this thing, but he figured that Asha knew what she was doing, and that it held some ritual significance.
"I mean, I am sure that Odin is considered all powerful for many other reasons besides the fact that he lacks unlimited sight." Loki reasoned, although he really couldn't come up with a good reason.
"Heimdall is rather loyal to Odin as well, which is why none challenge his authority. I actually think that if Heimdall was not as loyal, then when Odin died the rest would nominate him to become king over my brother. It would be a smarter choice."
((So fun fact I learned in Medieval World Class; In Anglo-Saxon times, just because you were someone's kid did not mean you got the throne when your dad died. You had to prove yourself, or else they would give it to someone else. Now that someone could be all honorable, like Beowulf and refuse the throne until you died, especially if you don't have any kids of your own, but the warriors of the group got to pick the king.
This leads to the previous comment by Loki. If Heimdall wanted power, I am sure he could convince most of Asgard that he should be the next leader, but he strikes me as the type of guy who would be like "Thor is a great man and a strong leader so you should let him take the throne." This is also why I think Loki did most of what he did in Thor. It's not that he wanted the throne, but because the throne would be up for grabs, he wanted someone to stop and say "wait, why don't we give Loki a shot?" He would have given up the throne, he didn't want it, but he didn't want to be ignored.))
