The association

Redrew their adult versions bc I really need to diversify unique features while also portraying their personalities... Which while I think it's an improvement, I don't think I've quite nailed it yet. May rework some of the minor features, particularly the eyes.

Some notes on the design choice:

Jacques & Kit - they're twins halves of the same whole to me, so they have the same face, just different vibes. Jacques is supposed to give the impression of a cool, strict, if a lil cold older brother, while Kit is the more carefree, also cool, affectionate older sister.

Lemony - I added scars from when Stew beat him up. His eyes are the same as his siblings.

Moxie - Other than polishing up the structure of her face and adding freckles, I think I really got her right from the get-go. 10/10 no further notes.

Cleo - She's supposed to look intimidating and regal, her hair is meant to evoke a "queen". She looks fierce, but she's nicer than she looks.

Jake - when he was younger, his hair is curlier and down, now he has it styled. He's meant to look friendly.

Ellington - doesn't look mysteriously enough ngl, but she does have femme fatale vibes. Kinda.

Lizzie - literally just Hedy Lamarr in terms of face. I really want a look that screams "STARLET", so she's the prettiest/most elegant looking here.

Kellar - my intention for him is that bc of his harried and anxious nature, he gives off the impression of being unapproachable and unpleasant.

Squeak - the youngest of the group, he grew up but still maintaining that core mischievousness. He looks a lot like Pip.

Pip - forgot to draw his glasses, anyways he looks more of a refined gentleman here bc he's now officially a librarian, a prestigious job.

Ornette - meant to look classy, enigmatic, and amiable. Perfect for a hotel proprietor.

— uhh idk why but I'd get the vibe that he wouldnt do much to his profile

— in my head, kit wouldve told him to get it & he didnt, regrets it now so when moxie tells him to get it he does it the next day

— his friends on there are the associates, but hes following kit as well who can't follow him back yet because shes still in jail

— would get hooked on reels and sends them in the dead of night

Moxie

— would use it more for networking & journalism

— the posts are her family, the news, her typewriter, & the lighthouse

— her highlights are her promoting the mallahan news & her self

— same thing about the followers and following, but maybe she'd have a few others from networking (i kinda miscounted. sorry)

— i kinda thought she was a blondie

— would also run a seperate acc for the actual news

Ellington

— yeah i was thinking that maaaybe shed use the nickname Elli or something. but idk why i didnt do it

— would try to find her father this way like “have u seen my dad” 😭

— a couple more followers from killdeer fields if u ppls think she wouldve been social like that

— i was thinking they'd sometimes use this for commercial use.

- people usually ask him for homework answers

- the only social media he owns is Reddit and discord

- ragebaits the teachers every day

- his essay gets used as the class example in AP Lang

Ellington

- plays the trumpet in jazz band (she carries the entire section and gets every solo)

- goes thrifting on the weekends

- spams the doc martens and skirt combo

- collects records

- gets performative allegations

- hates on people’s Starbucks orders

- does not play about her tumblr blog

Moxie

- head of the school newspaper

- always asking if she can interview people for her journalism class

- runs the school announcements Instagram account

- friends with most of the teachers

- forces Ellington to help her make posters for club drive

Cleo

- does chem olympiad, academic decathlon, and mu alpha theta

- tells freshmen AP chem is an easy class to take (they’ll come back later to seek their revenge)

- got nominated for homecoming court because of the amount of extracurriculars she does, but didn’t actually win because not that many people know her

Jake

- nice to everyone, even underclassmen

- that one kid that brings a ramen cooker to school and plugs it in during his free period

- goes to all of Cleo’s competitions to cheer her on

Kellar

- always has his Chromebook open and one AirPod in while the teacher is lecturing

- asks everyone what their test score was

- competes with Lemony and Moxie for the highest GPA
