Prince of Stride - The Live Stage Official Blog: Cast Intro #4
I’m really sorry that our update is late! ＞＜ It’s a day late, but here’s the fourth cast intro. ☆ Today’s cast member is Tanabe Ken, who plays Shishibara from Ichijokan. We knew it from the time he was chosen to play Shishibara, but Tanabe is a well-built guy! During parkour practice, he’s intense; he’s always moving around and even when he does the simplest of moves, he makes you think, “Wow, he’s strong!” However, usually he’s very calm and it seems like he’s always smiling. This is just like Shishibara!! XD Look forward to seeing him run around on stage. ☆
Now here’s a message from Tanabe!!
“Nice to meet you!! I’m Tanabe Ken, and I play Shishibara Kaoru from Ichijokan! I’m really happy that I’m a part of this stage play, which is based on such a passionate, cool, and great work!
There are many schools, but Ichijokan is the only school that is portrayed as a villain. It’s an honor to play the superhuman Shishibara Kaoru. My daily training really paid off!
Training is a hobby of mine, but my whole body is still completely worn-out after every parkour lesson! I’m confident in my ability and I feel I’m tough, but all of the other cast members are so strong and nimble!!! Lately all I can think about is how I still have a long way to go... There’s still about a year until Episode 2 and 3, so everyday I’ll stay diligent and I’ll make sure to perfect my Shishibara body and acquire skill like Shishibara’s!!
Both the cast and the staff love Prince of Stride so much. Surely an amazing stage is waiting for our unrivaled team of guys after we get through all of the training! I’m looking forward to presenting it to everyone.”
