Yeah this is gonna be pretty long but my brainworms won't let me abandon this idea so now ya'll are going to have to deal with it
I edited the usernames and icons but made no changes to actual comments. Those were all written by other people and they happen to fit these character too well. For source google "Peel a pound cabbage soup meme"
this random angle makes it look like he was actually hiding
Knapweed use in Kilima:
Reth, Kenyatta, Elouisa, and Badruu are regular smokers.
Nai'o occasionally splits a joint with Kenyatta or his dad, but he only smokes socially.
Ashura and Chayne smoke for medicinal reasons.
-
Delaila makes her own infused butters and oils to make edibles. Badruu and Nai'o say that her knapweed apple tart is to die for. (Auni is pissed that he's not old enough to have any)
Zeki regularly purchases edibles from her.
Kenli also regularly purchases edibles from her. Kenyatta steals them pretty often, but he never notices because he just assumes that he lost them somewhere or that he ate them and forgot.
Reth will occasionally buy infused ingredients from Delaila and make his own edibles. He's still fine tuning the recipes because he can't afford to get the ingredients that often.
Kenyatta begged for Reth to make her a knapweed infused birthday cake so that everyone at her party would get high. He didn't do that. Instead he made her a batch of brownies and waited until the party to give them to her.
i do think there's something tragic about kenli. he clearly has passion and love to go around, and like kenyatta, he's not been allowed to grow where he would thrive. but also, he has to pay delaila money every day for the rest of his life. double the amount for every time he mentions her farm
I want to hear about Eshe’s dating life before marriage SO BAD!!!! I CANT STAND IT!!!!!
So commitments are everything to Majiri right? That’s why the declaration of their path is so important.
I’m assuming that marriage commitment has an equal weight…
Do you think that the Majiri allow divorce?
If they can get divorced, do divorcees have the same stigmas as people who stray from their path?
Maybe part of Eshe’s bitterness towards Reth comes from jealousy. Wishing that she had the same courage to leave a commitment that doesn’t work for her. Seeing that people who leave their commitments can be happy, even if they’re scorned by some members of society.
