First of all, I'm not good with words at all, so I expected some of my words to come off as wrong but I'm glad that you understood whatever I wanted to say and took the time to answe my ask. Btw I'll be up for any rewrite fic you do for the Alvarez, I know it literally takes you years to upload but I love your writing especially Flame's Desire. I hope you do take time and fix the last season of the og series❤

And while I do love Gruvia a lot, I can totally understand your preferences and respect that. I won't tell you to go in deep with Gray's character but it really pissed me off when he was ridiculously blaming Natsu for everything that had happened to his family and Juvia for absolutely no reason. It didn't make any sense whatsoever. It was like Mashima wanted to have his own Narusasu fight at the last moment. I can't even think of any specific trait for his character in the sequel.

As for Lucy, I do think that the way she keeps saying she's weak is annoying like she should proudly stand and say that she's not the old one anymore. Like what happened to the whole confidence she had gained during Alvarez.

Erza specifically never changed that much from the start but recently she's having unnecessary fanservice. It's almost as if Mashima/Ueda took the "it's Lucy who gets the most fanservice" seriously.

Natsu has lost all of the meaningful moments he had with other people and alone and all he's now is dumb. Some of his actions are really contradicting with other ones. Especially the women lay eggs one, like how can he get what sexual attraction is, what kissing is, what dating and loving is then not get how babies are made? This is ridiculous.

But I'm glad that the power scaling is better compared to Alvarez and bad guys aren't just stomped on without even putting up a good fight. The best part of the whole thing. Actually I'm not for the plot or anything, I'm just glad to see the characters again. I love them too much stop reading the series.

Thanks for the well wishes, and don't feel bad over me answering these. If chose to do it even if I was going to bed, so that's on me. And it makes me happy that you Like my writing, even if I'm slow at updating! (I'm hoping to put Flame's Desire on an update Schedule this year. Just working on making a lot of chapters ahead of time for it!) As for what you read the sequel for, that's a good enough reason as any. I still love the characters so much and have been re-watching the og series in my spare time recently. I don't think I'll ever not love them after the time and effort I've put into their fanfics for all these years! The sequel just doesn't feel like 'them' anymore for me. Which is depressing. So I'd rather stick to the main series- it's flaws and all.
