blowtorched newcrest and wanted to see what I can do with it :)

I absolutely could not even think about decorating it without my fave 'hood deco buildings I always used in sims 2 neighborhoods (I think you might recognize some of them), so I converted them for the purpose :)

gave my downtown a makeover for the 50th time lmao 'cause I was never really satisfied with it, I really wanted to capture that 'big city chaos and randomness' and also the downtowns I created never really felt like the original one from nightlife and that's the one I love the most 🌇

what inspired me to do this is the decision not to send young adults to the uni 'hoods and instead move them to downtown (or let them stay in their hometowns) so I could play the young adult stage as a separate one (like in the later games). seemed like a fun idea, playing uni was not fun at all for me before so hopefully now it will be! they can dedicate their time to studying while being free to do whatever else they want (or not study at all) 📚 here's the mod that enables that if anyone's interested

when I played ts4 a few days ago I visited Britechester for the very first time- and it was so stunning I immediately had to try recreating it in ts2

it's still a huge wip 'cause I want it to be super detailed 🌳

Wanted to try something a bit different for a Downtown and this island vibe seemed cute, but now I'm not so sure lmao I think I want more space for buildings? Even tho I'm not sure my game can handle it? Every time I start decorating I promise myself that I will be reasonable and I fail 🐸

Maybe I'll try building another one on a different, more land oriented terrain and we'll see 🌳

Progress on the neighborhood I'm going to be sharing for download: Westbrook Cove 🌳 Hopefully I haven't gone overboard with the decorating and cluttering, it's very hard for me to control myself when I want it to look pretty x)

But that's pretty much it when it comes to deco houses and buildings, all that's left is to make a couple of residential and some community lots for your sims to enjoy 🌼
