What's your opinion on the pasta Ketsuban?

Ough to be honest I never. Finished reading this one until I got this ask. I've never been big on in-universe pokepastas and I think as a pokepasta fan it gets really easy to get burned out on MissingNo. - especially fics that frame MissingNo as some evil, destructive entity when in reality any gen 1 fan can tell you MissingNo is one of the more harmless glitches (in R/B anyway) and fics demonizing it are greatly exaggerating its effects. The sprite-scrambling this story is hinging on can. Literally be fixed by just viewing a Pokémon's stat screen LMAO

Putting that bias aside though, I think the story is a very good read. It's very descriptive and does a good job making the reader feel viscerally disturbed and disgusted by whatever MissingNo. is (in a good horror-y way), and is just about everything I like to see in stories trying to imagine what a glitch Pokémon would actually be like in-universe - otherworldly, incomprehensible and unmotivated, like a rabid animal acting on every instinct at once. I also like any pokepasta where Red is treated as a mindless puppet to his player's whims LMAO also a sucker for characters slowly realizing they're in a video game. Overall: It Good
