Character layout poses of baby Wile E., for scene 5 of “Little Go Beep.” I secretly posed out the entire short at home and turned it into an animatic, so it could be pitched to the studio as a short. (Earl Kress had previously written the script as a segment of a scrapped DTV project). These drawings eventually went to animator Dave Pryor, to help guide his animation of the scene.

One of the main things I've been doing lately is revisiting my Dim Bulbs series and redesigning my main character Buddy.

I actually came up with a new design after making these model sheets, but I still like how they turned out & I'll try to update them later.

Shy girl by day, show girl by night! This magical  girl transforms from a shy 1920s cutie into a glamorous, confident showgirl. 

She was so much fun to make! Going to animate her soon!!

It has been a fat minute since I’ve been active. But there’s a good reason for that: Animation!

I wish I could show off the last 8 shots I completed but they’re all super revealing to the story. So, here’s Anny’s major extremes from the most recent shot! There will be another character in this scene but for now I’ve removed them to keep the story secret. So far this has been my favorite shot of Anny to work on. I feel like I really nailed her design and attitude in this one. Anyways, back to the ol’ grindstone!

This was a quick demo I did for a masterclass I was teaching at an animation studio. It's roughed out in TV Paint to show the muscular deformation in creature movement. It’s only the basic four key poses of a walk cycle, no breakdowns or inbetweens, but I thought it might be something to share!
