Why yes, His tongue is pigmented, thank you for asking. He’s biting His wife, by the way, and no, She does not mind in the slightest. The other gods find His love bites to be quite unnerving, however. I wonder why.

WIP of Arroti.
He’s a biter. He has a lot of facial piercings as well, and this doesn’t even show all of them. I like His dimple piercings best, I think.
Unorthodox Ships Tag Game
It has been a week, but I’ll still thank @the-golden-comet for tagging me!
Rules: post five overly specific ship dynamics for characters in your story/stories.
Ga’avan the Mighty
1. Woman convicted of a felony x guy who just follows her around all the time and calls her a witch
2. Woman convicted of another felony x cowboy with depression
3. Cowboy with depression x literally the most elegant woman to ever walk the earth
4. Someone’s shoulder x a literal ax
The First Emperor
5. Really rich guy with too much time on his hands x fish man with attitude problems
Gosh I don’t really dwell in the lands of romance so this is hard for me. But I have a lot of characters who are either extremely minor or have relationships outside of the plot that do have even goofier dynamics. But let’s keep things relevant to what is actually publishable.
They’re a Ten, But… A Tag Game
Thanks for the tag, @jev-urisk!
I think this is a hilarious tag game honestly. Would love to see what people would rate them after their “but” clause.
Am’asy:
She’s a ten, but she’s worn the same tunic for four months straight.
Jalur:
He’s a ten, but he keeps challenging gods to humble him.
Yetova:
She’s a ten, but She turns people She doesn’t like into monkeys.
Arroti:
He’s a ten, but He takes weeks to recover from a single social event.
Khoram:
She’s a ten, but Her husband would kill you if you said anything negative about Her
One to Five Tag Game
Thanks for the tag, @jev-urisk!
One word to describe WIP:
1. Uneasy
Two favorite lines:
1. “…the blood on my hands will pool around my knees by the time I’m dead.”
2. “And that poor, innocent boy you’re protecting? … I will personally ensure that he knows just who is responsible for his fate.”
Three songs from WIP playlist:
1. Tongues and Teeth by The Crane Wives
2. Toes by Glass Animals
3. Girl With One Eye by Florence + The Machine
Four feelings from characters:
1. Melancholy
2. Terror
3. Hopelessness
4. Trust
Five featured tropes:
1. Love Angle (not to be confused with Triangle. Unless the guys are also into one another, it’s not a triangle)
2. Mentor character
3. Enemies to Lovers and also Friends to Lovers
4. Everyone is Morally Dubious
5. Magical Object
Some more memes I cooked up last night. I’m traveling right now and don’t have access to my laptop so I can’t do the tag games I’d like to do until I get home, but know that I see your tags and appreciate them!
Pride Highlights Week 3: Khoram
For pride this month, I’m going to share some of the queer characters in my stories. As a queer person myself, I feel it’s important to have casual representation in media, and I want to do my part to add to it. So, every weekend you’ll get to meet one or two characters who would identify as something other than cisgender and heterosexual if those kinds of labels mattered in their world.
Khoram has two partners: Her wife Yksi and Her husband Arroti. She is known for being ‘very selective’ with the people She chooses as partners—so far, those two are the only ones. She would likely identify with the labels of bisexual and poly.
Khoram and Arroti, March 2024.
I will love this one forever. The sheer romance. The utter devotion. Goddess, I can hear Him murmuring. Because He worships Her as the mortals do. He would do anything for Her.
