One time I watched this animated film called Khumba about a zebra born half with stripes and half without stripes, and it was okay, pretty cute kids movie but nothing special, HOWEVER!

He looked like this

In reality, if a zebra was born like this, the stripeless part of him wouldn’t be white, it would be black. Zebras are actually black with white stripes.

What prompted me to make this random rant post is this post I just saw from the Sacramento Zoo on Facebook that reminded me of this movie’s existence lol

I just like sharing this particular fun fact about zebras because my whole life I (like most people) assumed they were white with black stripes so my mind was blown when I first discovered it was the other way around.

Khumba is still frustrated why he doesn´t have stripes on his ass, well for me it looks good.  xD
