okay so last night was a little traumatic for me

i mean it was really fun don't get me wrong i went to a friend's house... but like idk. that's not the point im not coming here to vent.

THE POINT IS on the way home, my friend (my friend had to take me home) put on music from the various gotg soundtracks. (he knows i love the movies. what a fuckin homie fr) and i was like scared for reasons id rather not disclose so i was just singing along and my voice was noticeably shaky, but it worked. it was actually really comforting. and this morning I was thinking about that, and then i thought about peter.

okay okay picture this:

peter's had a really long day. he's only been with the ravagers for a few days now, and he's really scared. he's laying down, but he can't exactly sleep. so he pulls out his walkman, and puts on his music. it's his own little way of comforting himself. the people around him his whole life made him buy into the false idea that big boys don't cry, and the ravagers are no different. so he listens to his music, and it makes everything just a bit more bearable.
