hi im here for! the touken danshi letters if you're still doing them!! can i get a (rom) love letter from kikkou?? as for personality/prns and stuff my name is allister, i use he/him prns, and my personality is generally ciompared to a golden retriever, i can be impulsive and i don't always think before i act but i try and be a happy upbeat person! could the letter be him talking about how much he appreciates me/loves being around me maybe? thank you so much!!

It's practically about to explode- (You see a trail of ink before he resumes) My apologies, Hasebe came over to scold me over being so close to you but, how can I not! You are a fountain of energy and joy that always seems to rejuvenate me after battle! I cannot bear to be apart from you, your trust in me... brings much more joy than you shall ever know. I would do anything to see your smile for the rest of my existence as a Touken Danshi, even if it meant restraining myself~ I just wish I can bring you the same amount of happiness you have granted me. It would mean the world to the likes of me! Your joyous face and outgoing demeanor can't help but enchant me. Whatever you wish of you shall be done, all I ask is to remain by your side and love you. All these feelings sprouting from my heart are adoration for you, Allister. And I can't bear to keep it contained anymore!

Meaning of Japanese Motifs

We found this fun article from Manga De Japan that covers the meanings behind some of the more common and popular Japanese design motifs.  The descriptions are no doubt simplified from their deeper origins, but the overview is great.  Here’s a sampling:

seigaiha (overlapping waves) - tranquility uchiwa (folding fan) - prosperity shippo (overlapping circles) - good relationship chidori (plover) - acheivement tsuru (crane) - longevity uroko (scales) - ward off evil

The article is in four parts - give them a read through especially if you’ve got a Japanese kimono that includes a traditional motif.
