KillerCook Baking Challenge

Hey everyone ~ Killer here with another baking challenge. Now that fall is nearly upon us, I've cracked open a new pack of C I N N A M O N

The challenge: Add some spice to your life. That's the only requirement. Whether its a cinmmon roll, french toast, apple strudel, or soft baked cinnamon sugar pretzel, it matters not. Splash a dash of the good stuff and it'll be *chef's kiss* guaranteed!

To participate, you gotta submit a pic of your platter to my submissions or ask box by 3:00 PM EST Saturday, September 14th. Additionally, you need to submit a short summary of the flavor and why you chose to make it! Is it your fall comfort dish? A good luck charm? A way to welcome the season? An excuse to make the kitchen smell nice? Spill The Tea.

I'll be posting my comfort snack on Saturday and I'll hope you'll join me in baking! If you're here to eye the goods, I wouldn't blame you. Cinnamon is without a doubt, that bitch who leaves no crumbs.

KillerCook Baking Challenge

BREAD TIME BITCHES!

I was a little late on the sourdough starter trend during Covid so naturally I made a different kind of bread - and it took me multiple weeks to perfect.

Introducing - Shokupan bread, also known as Japanese Milk Bread! A bakery shop in Japan makes these breads with the added twist of a flavored spiral. I'm not that advanced (as per the last few weeks proved) but I was able to still make the spiral :)

I won't be mean though. For this KillerCook Baking Challenge, I challenge YOU to make a bread type of your choice! Focaccia, Sourdough, Challah, soda bread, sweet bread, whatever YOU want. I want to see what you make something delicious, comforting, and I want pictures of it!

The challenge: So whats the challenge for baking bread? ART! If you've ever seen the focaccia flower art, that's what I'm talking about. It doesn't have to be flowers, but I do want you to decorate the top or inside of the bread with something to give it that *chef's kiss.* To participate, you gotta submit a pic of your artisan bread to my submissions or ask box by 3:00 PM EST Saturday, August 3rd.

KillerCook Baking Challenge

Hey everyone ~ Killer here with another baking challenge. It's October and that means its time to transform everything halloween-themed until next February (probably, that's just how I roll and I don't wanna hear JACK about it from people who put up xmas deco on nov. 1 through the following year)

The challenge: I'm switching up the challenges, no one has to submit ANYTHING to my ask or submission box at ANY time. However, y'all are encouraged to participate! The new 'challenge' is gonna be, seeing if you can match my freak!

What does that mean? It means, that I am going to pick a movie and make a food item that represents a charater from that movie! Anyone is welcome to take their own character, or choose the one I am using as a template, to join in the fun.

So to kick this off - and I'm ignoring that I'm two days late on this, eat me - I am going with a classic -

The Nightmare Before Christmas

I'm choosing Oogie Boogie as my character and I plan to make a bakeable dish that's good to eat any any time of the day! Maybe I'll dye the color green, maybe I'll add tiny candy bugs into the dish itself or as decorative plating. Maybe I'll add playing cards as toppers, WHO KNOWS! I'm a professional deviant!
